England host Italy at Wembley on Tuesday night, four days after beating Holland at the Johan Cruyff Arena in Amsterdam. However, that game was marred by England supporters causing trouble around the city, both before and after the game.

England ended their hoodoo away in the Netherlands on Friday night, beating the Oranje for the first time away since 1969. Jesse Lingard’s first England goal was the winner in a tie that was mostly dominated by Gareth Southgate’s side.

Italy are in a period of turmoil following their failure to qualify for this year’s World Cup and they’re currently looking for a new manager, with Chelsea’s Antonio Conte heavily linked with a return to the role he held prior to taking over at Stamford Bridge. Interim manager Luigi di Biagio tasted defeat in his first game in charge on Friday night, losing 2-0 to Argentina in Manchester. The Azzurri will be desperate for a win, having not tasted victory since beating Albania in October.

England vs. Italy Predictions

It’s going to be another game of experimentation for Southgate, but with Italy in disarray, he’ll also be expecting a win. His side performed very well against the Netherlands and he’ll be keen to ensure that progress continues.
