Chelsea to beat Southampton – 10/13 (1.76)

The Blues have been on a fantastic run since Thomas Tuchel took charge at Stamford Bridge last month. The German has already implemented his own style and his new formation has seen the likes of Timo Werner and Olivier Giroud become more effective. The Saints have been on a poor run and have a squad hampered by injuries. With Chelsea in form, they can get your weekend off to a winning start.

Manchester City to beat Arsenal – 10/19 (1.52)

City are simply flying at the moment and they have stolen a march on their rivals in their quest to regain the Premier League title. They look dangerous in attack with the likes of Phil Foden and Ilkay Gundogan in superb form and rock-solid at the back with Ruben Dias and John Stones forming a formidable partnership. Arsenal have shown real improvement over the past couple of months but may find City too hot to handle at the Emirates.

Manchester United to beat Newcastle – 2/7 (1.29)

United are hanging on by their fingertips to second place in the Premier League after an indifferent run of form. They have thrown away leads in recent weeks, especially in their 3-3 draw with Everton. However, with the likes of Bruno Fernandes, Edinson Cavani and Marcus Rashford in your squad, chances are never too far away and they should be too strong for Newcastle, who are battling to avoid the drop.

Cardiff City to beat Preston – 20/21 (1.95)

Mick McCarthy has really turned around Cardiff’s form since arriving in the Welsh capital last month. They have won four games on the spin and sit just outside the Championship play-offs. They were on a downward spiral under previous manager Neil Harris so the work McCarthy has done should not be underestimated. Preston have had a real mixed bag this term after being tipped for the play-offs and have lost three of their past four games so Cardiff look good odds to make it a fifth victory on the bounce.

Norwich City to beat Rotherham – 8/15 (1.54)

After a very slight stutter, Norwich have found themselves four points clear at the top of the Championship after winning their past two games. Daniel Farke’s side remain on course to bounce back to the Premier League at the first attempt and they are very well placed with 16 games to go. Rotherham have had a mini-revival in recent weeks but Paul Warne’s side face a very tough task at Carrow Road on Saturday afternoon. The Canaries should fly to victory!

Swansea City to beat Huddersfield – 23/20 (2.15)

Steve Cooper’s Swansea continue to march on and have won their last three games in the Championship to keep the pressure on Brentford in second place, who are wobbling at the moment. The Swans always seem to be generous odds and against a Huddersfield side in dismal form, 23/20 looks fantastic value for a team with quality all over the pitch. If the Swans want to go up automatically, this is a game they must win and you would expect Swansea to take all three points from Yorkshire.

Sunderland to beat Burton – 20/27 (1.74)

The Black Cats have been in League One for far too long for a club of their stature and hopes are high they might now challenge for promotion following a takeover of the club earlier this week. Lee Johnson’s side have been in shaky form but possess Championship quality in their squad and the takeover could provide the whole club with a real boost. Burton Albion are bottom of League One and although they have chalked off three wins in their past five games, it would be a real shock if they beat Sunderland.

Cheltenham Town to beat Bradford – 10/11 (1.90)

League Two is wide open this season and Cheltenham sit pretty in third. After their FA Cup exertions against Man City, it would have been understandable if the Robins slipped down the table but they have maintained their impressive form and have made Whaddon Road into a fortress. Bradford should be higher up the table considering the quality in their squad but have had a difficult season. Cheltenham should have too much for the Bantams this weekend.
