Leeds to beat Southampton – 7/5 (2.40)

Marcelo Bielsa’s side have entertained the Premier League this season as their gung-ho style has won many friends over the past few months. The Chilean manager has improved Championship players into proven Premier League matchwinners, none more so than striker Patrick Bamford. They are full of goals at Elland Road so that should hopefully ensure three points against a Southampton side, who have endured a nightmare run of results lately.

Bayern Munich to beat Lazio – 20/27 (1.74)

Despite sitting top of the Bundesliga, the current champions of Europe haven’t had it all their own way this season. They lost to Eintracht Frankfurt at the weekend and have had a couple of blips this term. However, the strength in depth is there for all to see and they face a Lazio side who are currently sixth in Serie A. Munich will hope to get the bulk of the job done in the first leg and odds of 20/27 are pretty generous considering their record in this competition.

Atletico Madrid to draw with Chelsea – 41/20 (3.05)

There is not a lot to separate these sides and this should make for a very close encounter. If Atletico were playing Chelsea under Frank Lampard, you would probably be tempted to go for the hosts but Thomas Tuchel has already made Chelsea much harder to beat. With both sides relying on a solid shape, a draw looks a very enticing bet for this first leg.

Manchester City to beat Monchengladbach – 4/13 (1.31)

City are quite simply the form team in Europe at the moment. They are absolutely flying under Pep Guardiola and come into this match following a 1-0 win over Arsenal. In that game, City weren’t at their fluent best but were in control for the majority of that match. If they can repeat their performance from their 4-1 win over Liverpool, then Monchengladbach will be in for a very long evening. We also think City will win the Champions League and their current odds of 11/4 should not be sniffed at.

Norwich City to beat Birmingham – 5/8 (1.62)

The Canaries continue to march on in their quest for the Championship title and have now chalked off three successive wins to put daylight in between themselves and their rivals. Birmingham are struggling at the wrong end of the table and face a tough task to stave off the threat of relegation. Norwich, with the likes of Teemu Pukki and Todd Cantwell to call upon, should be far too strong for the Blues.

Reading to beat Wycombe – 20/23 (1.86)

The Royals have had a cracking season so far and are the surprise package within the Championship top six. They probably weren’t tipped by many to make a promotion charge but possess real threat in an attacking sense, with Lucas Joao already firing 17 goals this season. Reading have wobbled a bit lately but Wycombe are detached at the foot of the table and Reading can knock another nail into their coffin.

Lincoln City to beat Swindon – 10/19 (1.52)

The Imps show no sign of slowing down at the top of the League One table as they bid to play Championship football for the first time in their history. They have the best defence in the division and they come up against a Swindon side who have one of the leakiest backlines in the league. Lincoln share their goals around and aren’t heavily reliant on one player so the Robins have to be on their guard against the likes of Jorge Grant. A home win looks a banker here.

Sunderland to beat Fleetwood – 20/23 (1.86)

Lee Johnson’s Sunderland had a fantastic win against Burton at the weekend and have been boosted by the recent takeover news at the club. As we have said before, they possess Championship quality within their squad and it would be a shock if they didn’t go up. It has been all change at Fleetwood with the sacking of Joey Barton in recent weeks and, after reaching the play-offs last term, they have struggled to live up to the hype. Sunderland should win comfortably.
