Both of these sides will be thanking their lucky stars that they have made it to this stage at Euro 2020, and one of them will be heading to the last eight, which many of tipsters would not have predicted at the start of the tournament..
Sweden are probably the prettier of the teams, but Ukraine are dogged and weren’t soundly beaten in either of their two losses.
However, based on strength of previous results and performances alone, it’s tough to look past Sweden in this one.
They have only conceded twice and they didn’t lose in the groups, including an impressive 0-0 draw with Spain and a 3-2 win over Poland, so they are rightful favourites in this game.

The oddsmakers are finding it tough enough to split these teams with odds slightly favouring Sweden to progress to the last eight of the tournament.

We could definitely see this game being scoreless after the 90 minutes, with neither side having a particularly impressive goal scorer or record in front of the net. This is going to be an intriguing style clash, but we could see the slick Swedish play nullified by what Ukraine have been able to do up to this point, and they could be frustrated throughout the game
Under 1.5 goals – 31/20
This will probably be a low-scoring game, and if it is decided within 90 minutes then it could be a 1-0 win for either side. It’s tough to pick between these two teams, so we’re just going with backing there to be less than a couple of goals, which allows for a one-goal win either side or a 0-0 draw that sends it to extra-time or penalties.

This Krasnodar striker hasn’t found the net yet in this tournament, but he has looked good and we think this could be the day. He’s going to be involved in a lot of the build-up play for the Swedes, and we reckon that if they are to score at all against Ukraine, this will be the man to do it.
