The league seasons of the top teams in Europe have all begun, and there will be some scintillating action across the .

In La Liga, Barcelona are clearly still struggling to replace Lionel Messi, and they’ll have a chance to redeem their relatively unimpressive start on Sunday evening. The other big teams involved include Valencia on Friday night, who host Alaves on the same night Mallorca play Espanyol. On Saturday it’s Real Madrid’s time to shine when they travel to play Real Betis in the last match of the night, while the rest of the day features Celta de Vigo against Athletic Club who are looking for their first win of the year after two impressive draws including one with Barcelona last week. Elsewhere, Elche host Sevilla and Real Sociedad play Levante. The action finishes up on Sunday with Cadiz vs Osasuna and Vallecano vs Granada.

Over in Ligue 1, Lionel Messi will finally debut for PSG against Reims after four weeks of action on Sunday, with the hosts having sold all 21,000 of their tickets for the historic clash with PSG. Elsewhere, league champions Lille will want to get back to winning ways after a disaster start to the season, while on Friday night Lyon will also aim to get a victory on the board to try and compete with PSG this season

In Germany, there are only three games between Friday and Sunday, with the majority of the action taking place on Saturday. Bayern Munich host Hertha Berlin in the big Saturday game, while Sunday will see Red Bull Leipzig facing off against Wolfsburg. The sole Friday night game will be Dortmund against Hoffenheim.

It’s also a big weekend in Serie A, with action kicking off on Friday night and continuing through the weekend as we head into the international break. Udinese host Venezia and Verona play reigning champions Inter Milan on Friday night. Then on Saturday it’s Atalanta vs Bologna, Lazio vs Spezia, Fiorentina vs Torino and Juventus Empoli. We finish the weekend with Genoa vs Napoli, Sassuolo vs Sampdoria, AC Milan host Cagliari and finally Salernitana play AS Roma at home.

Lille vs Montpellier – Draw – 14/5

It has been a bizarre season so far in France, and we just don’t fancy Lille to get that first win, even against Montpellier. Both Lille and Lyon have been surprisingly poor this season, while Montpellier have impressed a bit. We’re going for a draw here, possibly a score draw.

Moenchengladbach vs Union Berlin – Moenchengladbach win – 17/10

The prices on this match are absolutely massive, and could provide some great value if you get it right. This is such a tight game, and 21/10 for the draw could be the one to go for. However, we do fancy a Moenchengladbach win in this one, their first of the year.

Real Betis vs Real Madrid – Real Madrid win – 4/5

We can’t believe these short odds on a win for the favourites Real Madrid. They’ll very likely beat Real Betis, and in an acca or a treble, this could be a nice little earner.

Verona vs Inter Milan – Inter Milan win – 10/17

Very similar to the Real madrid match, we love this price and it brings your acca to unprecedented heights, despite being a highly likely result.
