Andorra v England Preview

There’s not much to discuss in this weekend’s return to international football for England. They head to Andorra la Vella to take on the group’s bottom seed in a game that provides very little value for bettors. Gareth Southgate’s men battered Andorra 4-0 in the reverse fixture at Wembley Stadium, and it’s likely that we will see a similar scoreline again. As with the last game between these two sides, you should expect to see a few more fringe players get a look in this one. There are only two games this break, so we’d imagine Southgate will be anxious to experiment a bit with team selection. Patrick Bamford missed out on the squad this time around, while Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins and AC Milan star Fikayo Tomori are welcomed back into the fold. The best bet for Andorra would be to play deep and try to stop England’s creative players like Jack Grealish and Phil Foden getting too much time on the ball, but even then that would likely just keep the score down.

Andorra v England odds

The odds in a game like this one are essentially not worth looking at when it comes to the Full Time market. England are unbackable 1/100 favourites to win, even on the road, while the Andorran hosts are 100/1 underdogs and a draw is priced at a whopping 50/1.

Andorra v England betting tips

Multi-Bet Correct Score, England 0-4, 0-5, 0-6 – 27/20

It’s pretty safe to assume that England are going to win this game very comfortably, without conceding, given their defensive record against much better teams than Andorra. Even without players like Harry Maguire who like to add goals here and there, they will likely score a number of goals here. The younger players, and lads who are looking to establish themselves in what is already pretty much a winning team, will be desperate to get on the scoresheet. They have a much more challenging test in Hungary coming up a few days later, so there won’t be much from the stars, we’d imagine.

Correct score, England 4-0 – 15/4

A comfortable clean sheet and victory is what we expect from England in this one, and the value isn’t actually completely lost if you hit this market, because getting the correct score is difficult at any time. You can also get 19/4 on a 5-0 win and 10/1 on a six-goal win. If your belief is that England will be taking it easy, a 0-2 is priced at a massive 11/2.
