West Ham came out on top in a tight game against Wolves in their last Premier League outing, collecting three points which could potentially be the difference-maker in deciding if the Hammers will be playing European football next season. Although top four is starting to look out of reach, David Moyes will certainly have eyes on another season of Europa League football.
West Ham took all three points from the reverse fixture, which was an all-out attacking affair at the London Stadium. Although the Irons’ high intensity and physical style of play prevailed in East London, Liverpool have tasted defeat just once in 24 games in all competitions since that battle.
Jurgen Klopp’s favoured trio, Mo Salah, Diogo Jota and Sadio Mane lead the way for goals scored this season, and they have combined for 42 of Liverpool’s 70 league goals. They may have been kept relatively quiet when these two last met, but lightning doesn’t tend to strike twice.
The Reds have a real chance of sending the title race to the very end, and you’d expect Klopp’s side to come charging out of the blocks at Anfield on Saturday, as they look to apply pressure ahead of the Manchester derby on Sunday afternoon.

Nine of the last 11 fixtures between these teams have seen over 2.5 goals, and the last four have seen both sides find the net. It should be an end to end game, and the neutrals could well be treated to a goal fest.
