Brighton to beat Leicester – 2.03

Things have clicked for new coach Roberto De Zerbi and Brighton are reaping the rewards for their bold appointment. Since Christmas, the Seagulls have won four of their five games in all competitions, including a recent 3-0 drubbing of Liverpool. Only Man City and Arsenal have picked up more points than Brighton ahead of their trip to the Midlands.

In contrast, Leicester have lost five of their six games since Boxing Day, with Brendan Rodgers seemingly clinging onto his job for dear life. In fact, their only victory in that time was a narrow 1-0 FA Cup win over bottom-placed League Two side Gillingham. Brighton are battling for Europe, while Leicester are being sucked into a relegation scrap.

Newcastle to beat Crystal Palace – 1.85

Newcastle extended their Premier League unbeaten run to 14 games last time out with an important 1-0 win over European-chasing Fulham. The victory means they have accumulated 24 points in their last 10 games, scoring 16 and conceding just twice along the way.  The Magpies have also lost just once away from home this season, a record that includes a win over Tottenham and draws against Manchester United and Arsenal.

Palace have not been so consistent. Question marks have begun appearing around Patrick Vieira amidst the Eagles’ patchy form. Selhurst Park is never an easy fixture, but Newcastle arrive in South London strong favourites.

Nottingham Forest to beat Bournemouth – 2.68

The form of these two is trending in different directions. After winning back-to-back league games for the first time this campaign, Forest have put five points between themselves and the bottom three. Only five teams have picked up more points in the last five games, with Steve Cooper’s side finding form at the perfect time.

Things aren’t so bright in the Bournemouth camp – the Cherries have lost six straight games following the World Cup, failing to score in five of those. They look destined for relegation and defeat this weekend could plunge them into the bottom three.

Brentford to beat Leeds – 2.84

Brentford make the trip north as underdogs, but we’re backing them to claim all three points at Elland Road.  Thomas Frank’s side are unbeaten in four league games following the World Cup, a run that includes a point against Spurs and all three against Liverpool. The Bees are in top form, and Ivan Toney is back and firing on all cylinders.

Leeds have not won a league game since November 5th and only two teams have won fewer points in the last five games. They were hammered 5-2 by Brentford earlier this season, and although the scoreline will likely be much closer this time around, they will struggle to deal with the visitors.
