Leicester vs Chelsea

Brendan Rodgers appeared to have things back on track at the King Power but three consecutive league defeats have left them hovering just a couple of points above the bottom three. Only Southampton have won fewer points at home than Leicester, as the Foxes prepare for a visit from a reinvigorated Chelsea.

Chelsea look to be building some momentum following back-to-back victories and clean sheets. Raheem Sterling was on the scoresheet for the first time since returning from injury, with the 28-year-old crucial to Chelsea’s end-of-season efforts. The Blues should come out on top in what could prove a tight affair.

Score prediction: 1-2

Everton vs Brentford

After an initial upturn in form following Sean Dyche’s arrival, Everton are now winless in three. They have failed to score in three of their six matches under the new manager and face a tough challenge when Brentford arrive at Goodison Park.

No team has accumulated more points (22) than Brentford in the last 10 league games and they have the joint second-best defensive record in that time. The Bees are undefeated in 12 league games dating back to October, with main man Ivan Toney likely to fire his side to victory on Merseyside.

Score prediction: 0-2

Tottenham vs Nottingham Forest

If this game was at the City Ground, you might fancy Nottingham Forest to upset the odds. However, Steve Cooper’s side have not travelled well this season. No team has won fewer points (6) or scored fewer goals (3) on the road this season.

Spurs might be inconsistent, but they have been solid in North London as of late. Antonio Conte’s side have won three successive home matches against Man City, West Ham and Chelsea, keeping clean sheets in all three. They should have enough to see off a spirited Forest side.

Score prediction: 2-0

Leeds vs Brighton

Leeds might find themselves plummeting back into the relegation zone this weekend. They face one of the division’s standout sides, fresh off the back of a 4-0 drubbing against West Ham. Brighton are unbeaten away from home in the league since October and the Seagulls’ quality should show against a poor Leeds team.

They have lost four of their six games since sacking Jesse Marsch, failing to score in all four. With top scorer Rodrigo still side-lined with injury, it’s difficult to see where Leeds’ goals will come from.

Score prediction: 0-3
