Arsenal may have ended a four-match winless run last time out at home against Chelsea, but they have not fared well on the road in recent weeks. The visitors have won just once in their last five away matches, drawing three and losing one.
It was a 0-0 draw when these two met at the Emirates in the reverse fixture. Newcastle would probably take a point, whereas Arsenal need all three. Expect the Gunners to dominate proceedings on the ball but for Newcastle to cause all kinds of problems on the break. It’s gearing up to be another interesting tactical battle between Arteta and Eddie Howe.

As a result of their dominance on home soil, Newcastle go into the tie as slight favourites at 2.40, with an Arsenal win at 2.64 and a draw priced at 3.63. Both teams to score is heavily backed at 1.52, and although the reverse fixture ended goalless, either side to keep a clean sheet is less favoured at 2.42.
