Goodwood Cup: Tuesday – 3:35PM

The John and Thady Gosden-trained Gregory has had an impressive start to his race career winning three successive outings in his rookie career. He’s just over evens to take home the Goodwood Cup and be the fastest over the two miles. However, Andrew Balding’s horse Coltrane will also fancy taking home the top spot. With a sensational ride in the Gold Cup a month or so ago, could this slightly shorter race be one where this fine horse finally goes all the way?

And surprisingly the very talented Blue Rose Cen will be a slight outsider on this one. With wins at both Longchamp and Chantilly there’s every chance she could go again here at the Goodwood Cup.

Gregory 5/2

Coltrane 11/4

Courage Mon Ami 5/1

Sussex Stakes: Wednesday – 3:35PM

Paddington has to be one of the front runners in this Sussex Stakes after recently fending off Emily Upjohn in the Coral-Eclipse. It looks an exciting stallion prospect for Coolmore and is odds-on favourite to land this contest for Aidan O’Brien. However, Inspiral has a great chance to get the better of Paddington, along with Triple Time, who won the Queen Anne Stakes at Royal Ascot. But the market mover is Nostrum who was an impressive winner at Newmarket. There’s a few to consider in this year’s Sussex Stakes.

Paddington 8/15

Inspiral 4/1

Nostrum 9/2

Nassau Stakes: Thursday – 3:35 PM

Blue Rose Cen was able to claim victory the last time out when she raced in the Prix Diane Longines – she is likely to be another front runner in this one. It’s one of a few runners from John & Thady Gosden in the field but the only one who has won an Epsom Oaks this season. But Nashwa and Soul Sister have also been in good form and provide slightly longer odds as outsiders.

Blue Rose Cen 11/8

Nashwa 5/2

Soul Sister 5/1

Stewards Cup: Saturday – 3:35 PM

One of the biggest races of the festival and one that everybody looks forward to. There is a great outsider in Apollo One, with the five year old horse looking really good in his last few runs, despite not clinching a victory. There’s a chance this could be the breakthrough race and at long odds there’s a chance to win big here. There’s also the front runners, Orazio and Saint Lawrence, who have had good seasons, but winning the prestigious Stewards Cup would be the pick of the bunch. This will be a pretty wide open race, one that could go anywhere.

Orazio 10/1

Saint Lawrence 10/1

Apollo One 14/1
