West Ham to beat Leicester @ 2.44
This is yet another must-win fixture for West Ham and manager Julen Lopetegui after their 5-2 defeat at the hands of Arsenal.
But even after that thrashing, the Hammers should fancy their chances against a Leicester side without a win in six Premier League games.
The Foxes lost 4-1 at Brentford last time out and even with the potential new manager bounce under Ruud van Nistelrooy, we fancy West Ham to get a positive result at the King Power.
Especially with Mohammed Kudus set to return to the starting XI after his lengthy suspension.
Bournemouth to beat Tottenham @ 2.60
Tottenham’s inconsistency has been quite astonishing this season. After beating Manchester City 4-0 away from home, they drew consecutive home matches against Roma and Fulham.
Injuries are piling up for Ange Postecoglou and these days, a trip to Bournemouth represents one of the Premier League’s tougher tests – even with a fully fit XI!
The Cherries should also be high on confidence after beating Wolves 4-2 last Saturday and at home, they have the knack of picking up big results.
Already with wins over Arsenal and Manchester City at the Vitality, Spurs could be the latest member of the ‘Big Six’ to leave the South Coast with no increase in their points tally.
Aston Villa to beat Brentford @ 1.78
There is no getting away from the fact that Aston Villa are on a dreadful run. In fact, Unai Emery’s side are eight without a win across all competitions.
And a meeting with eighth-placed Brentford may strike more fear into the hearts of fans given the previous results, including last Sunday’s 3-0 loss at Chelsea.
However, the Bees are a different side on the road, failing to win any of their six matches thus far (losing five of them and conceding 11 goals).
Brentford have also only kept one Premier League clean sheet this season, a stat which should provide encouragement to the likes of Ollie Watkins and Morgan Rogers as they look to rediscover the Midas touch in front of goal.
Manchester City vs Nottingham Forest: Both teams to score @ 1.85
Unless you have been living under a rock, you will be well aware that Manchester City’s 2-0 defeat at Liverpool means they have now lost four on the bounce in the Premier League.
It is uncharted territory for Pep Guardiola’s side and as such, Wednesday’s match against Nottingham Forest is of huge significance.
And while we expect City to eventually claim a morale-boosting victory at the Etihad, we cannot see them keeping a clean sheet.
Their defence has looked woeful in recent weeks, shipping 19 goals in the last six matches across all competitions, numbers that will have in-form Forest striker Chris Wood licking his lips.
