It is Matchday 6 in the 2024-25 Champions League.
But unlike in previous years, this is not the final round of fixtures of the opening round, as the group stage has made way for the new-look League Phase.
However, this matchday still retains vital importance as the best sides in Europe aim to finish in the top eight and automatically qualify for the knockout rounds.
Matchday 7 and Matchday 8 take place in early 2025 and, of course, NetBet will preview both in the usual detail.
But Matchday 6 is the current focus, so read on for our latest football betting tips.

Aston Villa to beat RB Leipzig @ 2.60
Aston Villa have emerged from a tough run of results to record consecutive wins in the Premier League over Brentford and Southampton.
Now, Unai Emery’s focus will be on achieving more positive results in the Champions League following a 1-0 loss to Club Brugge and a 0-0 draw with Juventus.
And while a trip to RB Leipzig represents a tough test, we expect the Villans to walk away with maximum points here.
Leipzig have lost all five of their European matches thus far, albeit against tough opposition, and were recently beaten 5-1 at home by Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga. Over to you, Villa.
Inter Milan to beat Bayer Leverkusen @ 3.10
This is all set to be an absolute cracker between the champions of Germany and Italy.
Both sides reside in the top eight of the Champions League and as such, it is a very hard fixture to call.
However, Inter are currently unbeaten in the competition and amazingly, are yet to concede a goal in five matches.
Simone Inzaghi seems to have worked out the formula for Champions League success, which we can see the Serie A side continuing when they travel to face another strong opponent in Leverkusen.
Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona to draw @ 3.83
Yet another meeting between two European giants riding the crest of a wave in the Champions League arena.
Barcelona are third in the table, while Dortmund sit fourth and only trail the Catalans on goal difference.
These two are also comfortably the top scorers in this season’s edition with 34 goals combined, so expect entertainment of the highest order.
But with favourites Barcelona only winning two of their last six matches across all competitions, Hansi Flick’s side may have to make do with a solitary point after coming face-to-face with the famous ‘Yellow Wall’.
Club Brugge to beat Sporting Lisbon @ 3.04
Under Ruben Amorim, Sporting appeared to achieve the status of ‘dark horses’ in the Champions League, famously beating Manchester City 4-1 on home soil.
But since the young manager’s move to Manchester United, the Portuguese side have struggled to continue their fine form.
Sporting have lost three games in a row in all competitions, including the 5-1 thrashing at the hands of Arsenal on Matchday 5.
And Club Brugge often save their best performances for the view of home fans, a great example being the aforementioned 1-0 win over Villa. So opting for the Belgian side in this one could be a smart way to really boost those Acca odds!
