Aston Villa to beat AS Monaco @ 2.71
Fifth-placed Aston Villa are looking to strengthen their claim for a Top 8 finish when they travel to Monaco.
Unai Emery’s side bounced back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at Arsenal last Saturday and the comeback should have instilled positivity within the squad.
And while a trip to Monaco is never easy, the Ligue 1 side are not in the best of form, losing 2-1 at Montpellier in their most recent top-flight outing.
They are four without a win in all competitions and are conceding goals, a run Villa and Ollie Watkins can make even worse.
Atletico Madrid to beat Bayer Leverkusen @ 2.44
Atletico Madrid saw a 15-game winning streak in all competitions come to an end on the weekend as they suffered a shock 1-0 defeat at Leganes.
That will give additional confidence to visitors and reigning Bundesliga champions Bayer Leverkusen, who are fresh off a 3-1 win against Borussia Monchengladbach.
This match is all set to be one of the standouts of Matchday 7 and predicting the outcome is incredibly tough, with the two sides separated by just a single point in the congested table.
However, we are siding with Diego Simeone’s hosts, who are still spearheaded by the evergreen Antoine Griezmann.
Sporting Lisbon to beat RB Leipzig @ 2.35
Despite boasting some of the best young players in the world in Benjamin Sesko, Xavi Simons and Antonio Nusa, the Champions League has been something of a nightmare for RB Leipzig.
The Bundesliga outfit have lost all six of their matches and are already eliminated with two games still left to play.
So motivation levels will be at an all-time low when Sporting Lisbon and the free-scoring Viktor Gyokeres visit on Wednesday.
Sporting are 17th in the table and eager to consolidate a play-off spot, which we can see them doing against a potentially second-string Leipzig XI.
Borussia Dortmund to beat Bologna @ 2.10
In the Bundesliga, Dortmund have been pretty horrendous of late, winning only one of the last seven and on a run of three successive defeats.
But in Europe, BVB have fared far better, winning four of six matches and in contention for a Top 8 finish.
They were not exactly poor in the 3-2 defeat at the hands of Barcelona last month either, with Bologna not exactly posing the same threat as the Catalans.
Even with home advantage, the Italians could slip to a fifth Champions League defeat of the season, which would mathematically end their play-off hopes.
