Men’s Final: Sinner vs Zverev (Sunday, January 26, 8.30am UK time)
Sinner, who we picked to win the men’s side of the draw in our tournament preview, has reached the final and done so in style, taking out Holger Rune and home favourite Alex de Minaur, before beating Blake Shelton in the semi-finals. The World No1 is all set for another very successful season.
It feels strange labelling World No2 Zverev as an underdog. Nursing an injury coming into the tournament, many backed the German for a swift exit. But beating Tommy Paul and Ugo Humbert on his way to the final, Zverev has really impressed. Of course, he would have wanted to beat Novak Djokovic to earn his spot but to the disappointment of the Australian crowd, the Serbian icon was forced to retire hurt in Friday’s semi-final clash.
Sinner vs Zverev Odds
*All odds are subject to change
Sinner is the clear favourite here, priced at 1.32 to come out on top. Zverez is 3.10 to pull off the upset in Australia.
Sinner vs Zverev Betting Tips
While Sinner is our pick for the win, Zverev is not an easy proposition for anyone and he will push the Italian all the way. Sinner to win in over 3.5 sets is at 1.98.
Zverev is more than capable of winning this game, though and a key factor will be the form of each player’s serve. The first break could be crucial for the power balance. Zverev to get the first break is at 2.37.
Women’s Final: Sabalenka vs Keys (Saturday, January 25, 8.30am UK time)
The women’s fixture features one of the pre-tournament favourites in Sabalenka. She has dropped only one set on way to reaching the final, defeating both Mirra Andreeva and Paula Badosa in straight sets. Sabalenka has looked completely dominant in Australia and it will be hard to bet against her going into Saturday’s game.
Keys is quite a shock participant in the final. The American has impressed many tennis fans with her tournament run, with victories coming over World No6 Elena Rybakina and No2 seed Iga Swiatek. She endured tough three-set matches on each occasion, proving her pedigree, ability and stubbornness, all of which will serve her well when facing the World No1.
Sabalenka vs Keys Odds
Sabalenka is priced at 1.28 for the win, while Keys is firmly set as the 3.37 underdog.
Sabalenka vs Keys Betting Tips
As the overwhelming favourite, we are backing Sabalenka to get the job done. The Belarusian to win in straight sets is at 1.86, which looks a great price!
Keys has done incredibly well to get this far and we have no doubt she will try and make things hard for Sabalenka. But it is a testament to the favourite’s talent that Keys is 1.93 not to win a set in the match.
