Aston Villa face a battle to finish in the Top 8 of the new-look Champions League table.
Unai Emery’s side enter their final fixture sitting 9th and in need of a win over Celtic to avoid two extra games in the play-offs.

Aston Villa vs Celtic Preview
Villa have struggled in the Champions League of late after an electric start in the competition.
The 1-0 win over Bayern Munich was the standout display, but the Premier League side have mustered only one victory in the last four.
Away defeats to Club Brugge and most recently AS Monaco have dented chances of automatic qualification to the last 16.
Back-to-back draws in the Premier League, albeit one of them a 2-2 at Arsenal after being 2-0 down, suggests Emery’s side are not quite the force they were last season.
On the other hand, Celtic are flying, both domestically (a 10-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership) and in the Champions League.
With only one European defeat in seven, the Bhoys have performed above pre-season expectations.
Their only loss came on Matchday 1, a 7-1 hammering at Borussia Dortmund, and to bounce back in the manner they have deserves significant praise.
The 0-0 draw at high-flying Atalanta was a top-class display, while the 3-1 home win over RB Leipzig was evidence of the quality at Brendan Rodgers’ disposal.
We really could be in for an all-British classic and with Celtic able to play with more freedom due to a play-off spot being secured, it could well be an end-to-end thriller!

Aston Villa vs Celtic Betting Tips
First half result – Draw @ 2.45
Celtic have proven their ability to defend doggedly away from home in the Champions League. And they have conceded just twice in the last five games in this competition. If Villa are to win, we predict they will have to work very hard for it.
Under 0.5 goals in the first half @ 3.30
With the above tip in mind, if you fancy the scoreline to be 0-0 at the half-time break, the odds are rather eye-catching. Celtic’s last two Champions League matches, away at Dinamo Zagreb and at home to Young Boys, have both been 0-0 at the interval.
Jhon Duran to score anytime @ 2.46
A Villa goal in the second half, scored by their famous super sub? It is written in the stars (maybe). Remember, Duran netted after coming off the bench in Villa’s wins over Bayern and RB Leipzig.
