Arsenal vs Real Madrid Preview
These sides endured different plights in the last 16 of the Champions League.
Arsenal beat PSV 9-3 on aggregate following a 7-1 win in Eindhoven, while Real needed penalties to see off city rivals Atletico Madrid.
Neither team has been particularly impressive since the conclusion of the March international break, with Mikel Arteta’s side drawing 1-1 at Everton on the weekend after a 2-1 win over Fulham.
Los Blancos returned with a 3-2 win over Leganes, then drew 4-4 with Real Sociedad in their Copa del Rey semi-final second leg (which was enough to reach the final) and finally, lost 2-1 to Valencia last Saturday in one of the shock results of the European season.
The recent form of both only makes this fixture harder to predict, although the first leg could be decided by absentees.
Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior will be licking their lips at facing an Arsenal defence without Gabriel Magalhaes, while Aurelien Tchouameni’s absence in midfield due to suspension is a huge boost for the hosts.
This match and tie are also massive for Gunners skipper Martin Odegaard, a player rejected by Real as a teenager and in desperate need of a big performance following a season littered with inconsistency – so far anyway!
If we see the best version of the Norwegian at the Emirates this evening, with the returning Bukayo Saka feeding off his brilliance, there is a good chance the home fans will return home with smiles on their faces.
Arsenal vs Real Madrid Odds

Arsenal vs Real Madrid Betting Tips
Jude Bellingham to score anytime @ 4.90
Bellingham returns to English soil with the onus on him to deliver the goods. The Real superstar rarely disappoints and has 13 goals across all competitions this season, including three in the Champions League.
Arsenal to win and over 2.5 goals in the match @ 3.12
With home advantage and Real’s seeming inability to defend at the moment – transitions in particular – Arsenal may feel confident of winning. But with a star-studded attack spearheaded by Mbappe, the visitors should score at least one on the break.
Over 3.5 yellow cards in the match @ 2.05
With a number of key players on both sides one yellow away from suspension, including Vinicius, Antonio Rudiger, Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber, you just get the feeling that the referee will not be shy with his cards. Do not be surprised if at least one of the aforementioned quartet does not feature at the Bernabeu!
