Champions League 2024-25 Outright Odds

And then there were four!

The semi-finalists for the 2024-25 Champions League have now been confirmed after some sensational quarter-final action.

Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain will lock horns over two legs for a place in the final, while Barcelona and Inter Milan are set to reignite their feud and battle for a spot in Munich’s Allianz Arena at the end of the May. The two met in a famous 2010 semi-final contest, in which Jose Mourinho got the better of Pep Guardiola.

Yes, it is going to be footballing quality and drama of the very highest order, as is always the case when it comes to the Champions League.

Now that we have a short break between rounds, it feels only right to take a look at how the outright football odds are shaping up on NetBet Sport.

Let’s begin…

What Happened in the Quarter-Finals?

The quarters really were exciting, with Aston Villa and Borussia Dortmund almost staging miraculous comebacks against PSG and Barca.

Villa beat PSG 3-2 at Villa Park last Tuesday but lost 5-4 on aggregate following the French side’s 3-1 win at the Parc des Princes.

A Serhou Guirassy hat-trick fired Dortmund to a 3-1 home triumph over Barca, but it was not quite enough to overturn the four-goal deficit from the first leg.

Elsewhere, Inter just about made it past Bayern following an epic second leg at San Siro.

Harry Kane levelled the tie at 2-2 in the second half, before quickfire goals from Lautaro Martinez and Benjamin Pavard put Inter in dreamland. Eric Dier’s late header instilled some fear into Simone Inzaghi’s side, but they managed to hold on!

And finally, England’s representatives in the final four, Arsenal, cruised past holders Real Madrid in one of the best two-legged displays seen by a Premier League side in the Champions League.

A 3-0 win at the Emirates, courtesy of Declan Rice’s free-kick heroics, was followed by a deserved 2-1 win at the Santiago Bernabeu, Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli grabbing the goals as Rice earned his second consecutive MOTM award.

The word ‘remontada’ was thrown around a lot last week, but not a single comeback materialised. Maybe we will see one of epic proportions in the semi-finals!

Now let’s take a look at the outright odds, which as expected, are incredibly close…

Who Will be Crowned Top Goalscorer?

The top goalscorer market is getting interesting, with some of the leading scorers bowing out of the competition – including Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior.

Guirassy was also eliminated along with Dortmund, however, his hat-trick means he is currently the leading scorer with 13 goals.

But Barcelona duo Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski will fancy their chances of catching him in the semi-finals – and perhaps the final itself!

Top Goalscorer:

Raphinha (Barcelona, 12 goals) – 2.10

Serhou Guirassy (Borussia Dortmund, 12 goals) – 2.63

Robert Lewandowski (Barcelona, 11 goals) – 3.25
