Real Betis vs Chelsea Preview
Chelsea have had a fairly easy run to the final after beating Swedish side Djurgarden 5-1 on aggregate in the semi-finals.
Betis are far and away the best team the Blues will have faced in this competition, with the Spaniards seeing off two-time finalists Fiorentina in the previous round.
Spearheaded by veteran playmaker Isco and on-loan Manchester United winger Antony, Manuel Pellegrini’s team finished sixth in La Liga and have already booked their spot in next season’s Europa League.
Their position in the table allowed Pellegrini to rotate and rest players, though that meant a four-game winless run to end the Spanish top-flight campaign.
In contrast, Chelsea won four out of five matches to finish the Premier League campaign, a run which saw them finish fourth and qualify for the 2025-26 Champions League.
Maresca’s men claimed back-to-back 1-0 wins over Manchester United and Nottingham Forest to return to the elite, so confidence levels in the camp will be very high indeed.
That spells danger for Betis and the availability of striker Nicolas Jackson – who missed the final two Premier League games through suspension – only serves to help Chelsea’s cause in Poland.
The Blues are looking to join rivals West Ham as English winners of this competition, while Betis are seeking to become the first Spanish side to lift the new trophy.

Real Betis vs Chelsea Betting Tips
Player to score or assist – Antony @ 3.00
Antony has been a revelation at Betis since joining from United in January. The Brazil international has four goals and three assists from eight appearances in this competition, including a strike in each semi-final leg against Fiorentina.
Player to score or assist – Noni Madueke @ 2.10
Madueke has only played four matches in this season’s Conference League but has tallied some impressive numbers. The winger, who is almost certain to start in Wroclaw, has scored three goals and recorded one assist.
Yellow cards result – Chelsea @ 2.34
Chelsea are actually at longer odds than Betis in the total yellow cards market, which seems a tad strange to us. The Blues collected 99 bookings in the 2024-25 Premier League campaign, the most of any team in the division.
