Wimbledon 2025 Preview

In the men’s bracket, all the talk is rightly about Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner.

The top two in the world played out an epic finale at the French Open, with Alcaraz eventually triumphing on the clay at Roland-Garros in one of the greatest tennis matches ever seen.

Since then, reigning Wimbledon champion Alcaraz has picked up another title in London, winning the ATP Queen’s event.

Stopping the Spaniard looks a tough task indeed and in truth, it looks like only Sinner – who triumphed at this year’s Australian Open – is capable of achieving the feat.

Seven-time winner Novak Djokovic, British No1 Jack Draper, Alexander Zverev and Taylor Fritz may have something to say about that, but we would be rather shocked not to see another final between Alcaraz and Sinner – who have shared the last six Grand Slams.

In the women’s bracket, there are perhaps more contenders for glory, with Aryna Sabalenka, Elena Rybakina, Coco Gauff and Iga Swiatek all looking sharp ahead of Wimbledon.

American star Gauff beat Sabalenka in the French Open final, with Sabalenka also losing out to Madison Keys in the Australian Open final.

Keys is, of course, another top-class player who can shine on the Wimbledon stage, particularly after the aforementioned win Down Under.

But World No1 Sabalenka would love nothing more than to end her losing run at the last hurdle of majors on the grass courts of the All England Club – and also add to her three Grand Slam titles.

Jessica Pegula, Jasmine Paolini and Qinwen Zheng are some other highly-ranked players to keep an eye on at Wimbledon, especially as their pre-tournament odds look very good indeed!

Speaking of odds, let’s take a look at how they are currently shaping up on NetBet…
