And then there were two.

Chelsea have had the easier of the two routes to the final, with the Blues defeating Benfica, Palmeiras and Fluminense in the knockout stage.

PSG had a fairly easy Round of 16 tie against Inter Miami, which they won 4-0, but then had to see off challenges from Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

The semi-final tie against Los Blancos was a classic performance by the Parisians under Luis Enrique, with the Ligue 1 champions winning 4-0.

PSG were 3-0 up in 24 minutes thanks to a brace from Fabian Ruiz and a strike from Ousmane Dembele, with Goncalo Ramos completing the job in the second half.

The French side have conceded just one goal at the Club World Cup and are on a run of four consecutive clean sheets, which is pretty daunting for Chelsea.

However, Enzo Maresca can call on a new attacking weapon in Joao Pedro, who scored both goals in the 2-0 semi-final victory over Fluminense.

But while PSG’s attacking power outweighs that of their opposition – even with Pedro’s addition and Liam Delap’s return from suspension – this match will be decided in the midfield.

Can Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez get close to matching Ruiz, Vitinha and Joao Neves? If not, you really do fear for Chelsea, especially with key centre-back William Pacho also back available for PSG after serving a suspension in the semi.

Chelsea vs Paris Saint-Germain Betting Tips

Player to score or assist – Fabian Ruiz @ 2.38

Usually we would opt for Dembele or Desire Doue in this market, but Ruiz’s performance vs Real Madrid was eye-catching. The Spaniard scored twice and registered three shots on target, highlighting his ability to shine in the final third.

Player to score or assist – Enzo Fernandez @ 4.00

Fernandez has the most assists at the Club World Cup with three, and also scored in the Matchday 1 win over Los Angeles FC. As such, his odds here look very tempting indeed, even up against a formidable team like PSG!

A substitute will score – Yes @ 2.70

In PSG’s last two matches, a substitute has scored. Dembele netted off the bench against Bayern, while Ramos came on and scored in the victory over Real. So this market is certainly one to keep an eye on, with both teams possessing squads with strength in depth.
