Richarlison to score anytime for Tottenham vs Bournemouth @ 2.20

Richarlison and Spurs have started the season in fine fashion. The Brazilian striker scored twice in the 3-0 win over Burnley on Matchday 1, before turning in another top-quality display at the Etihad last weekend. Richarlison claimed an assist in the 2-0 victory over Manchester City, and appears to have the No9 spot in Thomas Frank’s XI nailed down for the time being. The former Everton man should be eyeing more goals on Saturday afternoon against a Bournemouth side fresh from a 2-0 loss to Brentford in the Second Round of the EFL Cup. Richarlison missed both games vs Bournemouth last season, but scored in the 3-1 home victory over the Cherries during the 2023-24 campaign.

Brentford to beat Sunderland @ 2.49

As mentioned above, Brentford are into the Third Round of the EFL Cup after beating Bournemouth, and the Bees look to have turned a corner rather quickly. Questions were asked of manager Keith Andrews after the 3-1 defeat to Nottingham Forest on Matchday 1, but Brentford bounced back to claim a 1-0 win over Aston Villa, with new signing Dango Ouattara grabbing the crucial goal. So the odds on the Londoners to pick up a second away win of the week are rather eye-catching, especially as Sunderland lost 2-0 to Burnley last time out in the Premier League. Oh, and the Black Cats were beaten on penalties by League One side Huddersfield in the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening!

Jorgen Strand Larsen to score or assist for Wolves vs Everton @ 2.63

Strand Larsen’s future at Wolves remains uncertain as we approach the end of the transfer window, with Newcastle a potential destination. However, persistent talks of a move further up north have clearly not impacted the talented striker’s dedication to performing, evidenced by a two-goal cameo vs West Ham in the EFL Cup, which secured a 3-2 win. Strand Larsen scored 14 goals and tallied four assists in the Premier League last season, and even though Everton are a strong team defensively, we fancy Wolves’ main man to land a decisive blow at Molineux on Saturday. To further whet the appetite for this selection, Strand Larsen has three goal contributions in his last four top-flight appearances – and Everton are still missing key centre-back Jarrad Branthwaite!

Leeds vs Newcastle: Draw @ 3.55

Monday night’s fixture against Liverpool was a mixed bag for Newcastle. Eddie Howe’s side showed fight and determination to level the scores at 2-2 with 10 men, but the Magpies ultimately lost 3-2 courtesy of a late, late goal from teenage sensation Rio Ngumoha. Furthermore, Howe lost a number of key players on Monday, namely Anthony Gordon following his reckless red card. With talisman Alexander Isak still on strike, Fabian Schar, Joelinton and Sandro Tonali all had to leave the St James’ Park field vs Liverpool with various injury issues, and it remains to be seen whether they can play at Elland Road. If not, the ball is in Leeds’ court – and Daniel Farke’s side are famously strong at home. The Whites beat Everton 1-0 in front of their own fans on Matchday 1 and lost just one single match at Elland Road in the Championship last season. Furthermore, three of the last four top-flight meetings between these sides have ended in a draw, another reason why we are tipping that record to be extended to four of the last five.
