Premier League Matchday 6 kicks off tomorrow afternoon as Brentford host Manchester United, with nine more exciting fixtures to follow.
Interestingly, three of the big boys play at 3pm on Saturday, which is quite a rare occurrence in the modern era.
Crystal Palace vs Liverpool, Chelsea vs Brighton and Manchester City vs Burnley means it is a Gillette Soccer Saturday well worth watching this week!

Crystal Palace vs Liverpool: Anytime goalscorer – Jean-Philippe Mateta @ 2.74
Liverpool are looking to make it six wins from six when they visit Selhurst Park. Arne Slot’s side look well on course to defend their Premier League crown, although the Reds are not really dominating games. Liverpool have conceded five goals this season, and even with the presence of Virgil van Dijk, their back-line looks a little susceptible, particularly to a physical striker of Mateta’s quality. The Palace forward has already netted twice in the Premier League and was also on target in the Eagles’ Community Shield victory over Liverpool last month.
Manchester City to score under 2.5 goals vs Burnley @ 1.96
In days gone by, tipping City to score under 2.5 goals vs a newly-promoted side would be unthinkable. But the Citizens are not quite the attacking force they once were, with a heavy reliance on Erling Haaland for goals. The Norwegian is an injury doubt this weekend after scoring in the 1-1 draw with Arsenal and even if he does make the XI, we still like the look of this selection. Scott Parker has built his Burnley side on a strong defensive foundation, one which can frustrate the hosts. And if City do go one or two goals up, it is possible the foot will be taken off the gas ahead of next week’s Champions League clash at AS Monaco.
Chelsea vs Brighton: Player to score or assist – Joao Pedro @ 1.73
Pedro was given a well-earned rest against Lincoln in the EFL Cup on Tuesday, a match which Chelsea won 2-1. The Brazilian has started very well at Stamford Bridge, with two goals and three assists in his first five Premier League appearances for the Blues. Against his former team in Brighton, motivation levels will be high, while the potential absence of Cole Palmer through injury only increases Pedro’s importance to the Chelsea attack. Furthermore, Brighton are yet to keep a clean sheet in the top flight this season, a record which is far from ideal ahead of such a tough fixture. And a well-rested Pedro can inflict more misery on Fabian Hurzeler’s leaky defence, with the Seagulls losing 4-2 in this fixture last term.
Nottingham Forest vs Sunderland: Draw @ 3.53
We finish with our riskiest tip of the lot, but one which could provide exceptional value. Forest ran themselves into the ground on Wednesday evening, drawing 2-2 with Real Betis on Matchday 1 of the Europa League. Key centre-back Nikola Milenkovic also appeared to pick up an injury at the end of the game, which could be a huge blow if Murillo is unable to return from his own fitness struggles. As such, Sunderland should feel confident of extending Ange Postecoglou’s winless start in the Forest hot-seat, with the Tricky Trees only managing a 1-1 draw with Burnley last weekend. And Forest’s last home game saw them beaten 3-0 by struggling West Ham, so the City Ground is perhaps not the fortress it once was. Sunderland have drawn their last two Premier League matches, including the 0-0 at Crystal Palace on Matchday 4.
