Matchday 6 of the 2025-26 Premier League season finishes with West Ham’s trip to play Everton.
The latest edition of Monday Night Football is a big one for David Moyes, because the current Toffees boss previously managed the visitors, even guiding them to a Europa Conference League title.

Everton vs West Ham Preview
After a promising start to the season, this now represents a fairly big game for Everton following a worse-than-average run of results.
The Toffees’ last two Premier League fixtures saw them draw 0-0 with Aston Villa and lose 2-1 to Liverpool, while Tuesday evening saw them dumped out the EFL Cup in the Third Round by Wolves.
But West Ham represent the perfect opponent to help get things back on track, with Graham Potter’s job hanging by a thread.
The Hammers enter this fixture on the back of consecutive home defeats to Tottenham (0-3) and Crystal Palace (1-2).
At the London Stadium, the atmosphere really has grown in toxicity levels, so Potter and the players may not be too sad about heading to the new Hill Dickinson Stadium for the first time.
Furthermore, West Ham’s recent record at Everton – albeit at Goodison Park – is very good indeed, the East Londoners winning three of the last five Premier League clashes.
The match back in March finished 1-1 after Jake O’Brien’s injury-time equaliser cancelled out a second-half opener from Tomas Soucek.
Soucek will not feature in this contest due to suspension following his red card in the defeat to Spurs, while Aaron Wan-Bissaka is set to miss out again through injury.
But other than that, West Ham have a fairly clean bill of health, which Everton also posses – with Jarrad Branthwaite and Merlin Rohl likely to be the only absentees.
Everton vs West Ham Odds

Everton vs West Ham Betting Tips
Player to score or assist – Jack Grealish @ 2.05
Grealish has started the season in fine fashion with four assists in five league appearances. Furthermore, the fleet-footed winger has a great record against West Ham, tallying three goals and three assists in 10 previous matches vs the Hammers. So this could be a great way to more-than double your money.
Everton to score over 1.5 goals @ 1.84
Defensively, West Ham have been a bit of a shambles this season – and they were for much of 2024-25 as well. Potter’s men have conceded 13 goals already in 2025-26, the most of any team in the division, while Everton recorded a combined total of 31 shots from their previous two top-flight home matches. The numbers suggest this selection is a pretty safe bet!
Jarrod Bowen to have over 0.5 shots on target @ 1.62
It is rare a West Ham game goes by without Bowen recording at least one shot on target. The Hammers skipper has already tested the opposition goalkeeper’s gloves on six occasions this season – the joint-third highest total – and scored two goals.
