After a dramatic 2-1 comeback victory at Newcastle on the weekend, Arsenal continue their Champions League campaign against Olympiacos.

Olympiacos dumped Arsenal out of the Europa League in 2019-20, winning 2-1 after extra-time in North London after Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang famously spurned a last-second chance to send Arteta’s side through.
Then in 2020-21, Olympiacos won 1-0 in the second leg of a last-16 tie at the Emirates, though the damage had already been done in Piraeus courtesy of a 3-1 away victory for the Gunners.
But the Greek side should now be well aware of Arsenal’s improvements since their last visit over four years ago, with fresh faces like Eberechi Eze, Viktor Gyokeres, Martin Zubimendi and Cristhian Mosquera already finding their feet.
It has all the makings of a one-sided affair at the Emirates, even though Arsenal’s last home fixture vs Manchester City finished 1-1. Before that though, the Gunners thrashed Leeds 5-0 and also claimed a 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest.
