These two sides have met 14 times in the Champions League era, with each team winning five matches and four draws.
In the 2023-24 quarter-finals, PSG claimed a 6-4 aggregate victory, famously winning 4-1 in Barcelona after suffering a 3-2 first-leg defeat at the Parc des Princes.

Fortunately, barely any members of the current PSG squad participated in that tie, and the French champions enjoyed a great start to the ongoing Champions League campaign thanks to a 4-0 home win over Atalanta.
However, things have not gone smoothly since. A 1-0 loss to Marseille may have been followed by a 2-0 win vs Auxerre, but the latter was a match which saw Luis Enrique’s side pick up more injuries.
Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembele and Desire Doue have been joined on the treatment table by Marquinhos and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, while midfielders Vitinha, Joao Neves and Fabian Ruiz are all doubts to start tomorrow evening.
But Barcelona have injury issues of their own. Raphinha, Fermin Lopez, Alejandro Balde, Gavi and Joan Garcia are all out of contention, although the return of Lamine Yamal in last Sunday’s 2-1 win over Real Sociedad was a huge boost.
Hansi Flick’s side are also yet to taste defeat this season. In La Liga, they boast a record of six wins and a draw, while a 2-1 victory was secured at Newcastle in their Champions League opener.
With PSG potentially missing so many stars, this looks like the perfect opportunity for Barca to get revenge for the 2020-21 and 2023-24 home humiliations.
