England can secure their spot at the 2026 World Cup with a victory in Latvia tomorrow evening.
Thomas Tuchel’s side have a perfect record in Group K heading into the fixture, recording five wins from five and conceding zero goals.
And this should be another routine victory for the Three Lions, who are one of the big favourites to win next summer’s World Cup.

Latvia vs England Preview
Albania’s 1-0 win in Serbia means England are just one step away from reaching another World Cup.
And anything but a comfortable victory in Latvia would be viewed as a failure by Tuchel’s team.
Ranked 137th in the world by FIFA, the Latvians are far from a force on the international football stage.
Back in March, Latvia lost 3-0 to England at Wembley, though did pick up a credible 1-1 home draw vs Albania in June.
That being said, we would be shocked to see a repeat of that scoreline when Tuchel’s boys come to town.
The Three Lions have been on a bit of a roll of late, following up a fantastic 5-0 win in Serbia with a dominant 3-0 victory over Wales.
Ollie Watkins, Morgan Rogers and Bukayo Saka were all on the scoresheet for England in last week’s international friendly, which should serve as fantastic preparation for this contest.
Tuchel is likely to welcome back captain Harry Kane tomorrow evening after the free-scoring striker missed the aforementioned win over Wales, and that is not good news for Latvia.
As well as being England’s record scorer by a considerable distance, Kane has started the 2025-26 season in ridiculous fashion, scoring 18 goals in 10 matches across all competitions for Bayern Munich.
With the likes of Saka, Rogers, Anthony Gordon and Marcus Rashford supporting him, it could be a long night for the hosts.
Latvia vs England Odds

England are massive favourites for the win here at odds of 1.03. An unlikely Latvia victory is priced at 23.00, while the draw is 9.60.
Latvia vs England Betting Tips
Player to score or assist – Declan Rice @ 1.80
Rice plays in more of an advanced midfield role in an England shirt these days thanks to the presence of Elliott Anderson. And given how lethal the Arsenal star is with his set-piece delivery, this looks like a great selection. Rice has scored or assisted in four of his last seven appearances for England.
England total goals – Over 3.5 @ 2.08
With World Cup qualification now within touching distance, we expect England to put on a bit of a show. Players are competing for spots in the squad for next summer’s tournament, so expect maximum effort from the first minute until the last. England’s last away match saw them beat Serbia 5-0 and if the Three Lions score early in Latvia, we may see a similar outcome tomorrow evening.
