We would be shocked if Erling Haaland is not given the night off here, given how vital he is to City’s hopes in both the Premier League and Champions League. Wolves beat West Ham 3-2 in the Second Round and then claimed a 2-0 victory over Everton to reach this stage. However, Chelsea – with their enviable squad depth – may prove to be a step too far for the Wanderers. Enzo Marseca will be desperate for a response from his players after the shock 2-1 defeat to Sunderland on the weekend, while the Blues’ last away fixture saw them beat Nottingham Forest 3-0. Chelsea also enjoyed their previous visit to Molineux, winning 6-2 in August of last year.
