But away from St James’ Park, Eddie Howe’s side have struggled immensely, with the 3-1 loss at West Ham last weekend a standout negative. The Magpies are yet to win on their travels in the Premier League this season, while Brentford have impressed on home soil against the division’s big hitters. Manchester City are the only visiting team to win at the Gtech this season, with the Bees already securing home wins over Aston Villa, Manchester United and Liverpool, as well as a 2-2 draw vs Chelsea. With extra days of rest, we fancy Keith Andrews’ boys to live up to their fantastic hosting status vs Newcastle, having won this fixture 4-2 last season.
