Fenerbahce vs Ferencvaros: Anytime goalscorer – Marco Asensio @ 2.88

Asensio is in a rich vein of form ahead of kick-off in Istanbul. The Spaniard has scored four goals in the previous three Super Lig games, including a brace against Rizespor on the weekend to secure a 5-2 away win. Asensio is yet to get off the mark in the Europa League this season, but this could be the perfect opportunity to do so. Ferencvaros arrive in the Turkish capital on the back of a shock 3-1 home loss to Nyiregyhaza Spartacus, and the Hungarian side have kept just one clean sheet in the last nine matches across all competitions. Over to you, Marco!

Aston Villa to score over 2.5 goals vs Young Boys @ 1.78

After a crucial 2-1 win at Leeds on the weekend, this match feels like a great opportunity for Villa – and a few of their fringe players – to make a big statement. Young Boys were hammered 4-0 by PAOK in their previous Europa League away match, and may have one eye on this weekend’s Swiss Super League action, as they trail leaders Thun by six points. With injuries not really a problem for Unai Emery right now, Villa can look to emulate their last home outing – which was a 4-0 win over Bournemouth!

Nottingham Forest vs Malmo: Both teams to score – No @ 1.63

To say Forest will be full of confidence ahead of kick-off at the City Ground would be something of an understatement. Sean Dyche’s men thrashed Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield last Saturday, and are now unbeaten in four matches across all competitions. Forest have shown real signs of improvement in Europe since Dyche’s appointment, beating Porto 2-0 at home and then drawing 0-0 at Sturm Graz. So we are backing them to keep another clean sheet here against a Malmo side who finished as low as sixth in the now completed Swedish top-flight season. Furthermore, Malmo lost 1-0 vs Panathinaikos last time out in this competition and have scored just two goals in four matches, failing to win a single one of them!

Celtic to beat Feyenoord @ 4.20

Feyenoord’s struggles in the first half of the League Phase were a slight surprise. The Dutch side suffered three defeats and tallied only one win, a record bettered by this week’s visitors Celtic (one win, one draw & two defeats). And Feyenoord have lost four of the last five across all competitions, including a shock 4-2 home defeat to NEC on the weekend. As such, Celtic should be quietly confident of springing a surprise in Rotterdam, especially after a vital 1-0 win at St Mirren last Saturday. Of course, the Bhoys need a far better performance than the one delivered in the 3-1 loss at Midtjylland on Matchday 4, but the Scottish side certainly have the quality in the ranks to make a mockery of their pre-match odds.
