Tottenham to beat Brentford @ 2.29
The first edition of the Thomas Frank derby is a huge one for Spurs. After a credible 2-2 draw at Newcastle on Tuesday, the North Londoners now must look to remedy their poor home form. Frank’s men have won just one top-flight game on their own patch this season, and that came on the opening weekend vs Burnley! But Brentford’s away form is equally bad, the Bees losing on six of their seven trips and mustering just one victory. So this represents a huge opportunity for Spurs, who have won each of the last three meetings with Brentford – including a 3-1 home win last September. As such, we are backing that positive run to be extended to four matches.
Newcastle vs Burnley: Anytime goalscorer – Bruno Guimaraes @ 6.00
After his goal off the bench in the 2-2 draw with Spurs, we are a tad shocked to see just how good Guimaraes’ odds are to net again vs relegation-threatened Burnley. All four of the Brazilian’s goals in the Premier League this season came at St James’ Park, and with some midweek rest, the Magpies skipper can continue his love affair with the stadium. Burnley have conceded 10 goals in their last four top-flight away matches, which should be music to the ears of Guimaraes and his team-mates.
Chelsea to beat Bournemouth @ 2.11
After a great start to the campaign, Bournemouth are on a rotten run of form. The Cherries have lost five Premier League matches in a row, and were beaten 1-0 at the Vitality by Everton on Tuesday evening. Of course, Chelsea enter this fixture on the back of a demoralising 3-1 loss at Leeds, but the Blues certainly have the squad depth and quality to bounce back – even without the suspended Moises Caicedo! Chelsea are unbeaten in three visits to Bournemouth, claiming the victory on two occasions, which is why Enzo Maresca’s men get our nod of approval. The odds here are pretty eye-catching as well!
Everton vs Nottingham Forest: Player to score OR assist double chance – Jack Grealish OR Iliman Ndiaye @ 1.50
Grealish and Ndiaye have been Everton’s most efficient attacking players this season. After his winner against Bournemouth, Grealish is up to two goals and four assists, while Ndiaye has tallied four goals and an assist. Given the Toffees have only scored 15 times in the Premier League this season, it is clear how important the pair are to David Moyes. So backing one of them to be involved in an Everton goal vs Forest feels a very sensible course of action to take. Sean Dyche has instilled some defensive solidity since arriving in Nottingham – evidenced by back-to-back away clean sheets – but the Toffees have scored at least once in all but two home matches in 2025-26.
