Manchester City vs West Ham: Player to score in both halves – Erling Haaland @ 4.70
A well-rested Haaland could be an absolute nightmare for struggling West Ham. The Norwegian star has 17 goals in 16 Premier League matches this season, and his record against the Hammers is terrifyingly good. In six previous appearances, Haaland registered nine goals, and five of them came in the two matches last term. When the teams met at the Etihad back in January, Haaland scored either side of half-time in a 4-1 win, and we are predicting a similar outcome on Saturday. West Ham have conceded 32 goals in the top flight this season, the third-highest total in the division.
Arsenal to beat Everton @ 1.60
Arsenal are not on the best run following a 2-1 loss to Aston Villa and an unconvincing 2-1 win over rock-bottom Wolves. But Mikel Arteta has been handed a boost by Everton’s squad issues. Iliman Ndiaye and Idrissa Gana Gueye have jetted off to AFCON, while Kieran Dewsbury-Hall picked up a hamstring injury in the 2-0 defeat at Chelsea. So the Toffees are very likely to be without three of their most important players, which hands even more of an advantage to table-toppers Arsenal. The Gunners have not won on the road in the league since November 1, a 2-0 win at Burnley, but we are backing them to emerge victorious here.
Leeds vs Crystal Palace: Anytime goalscorer – Dominic Calvert-Lewin @ 2.88
Leeds are showing signs of life in the Premier League after a rotten run of form – and Calvert-Lewin has been something of a catalyst for change. The striker has scored in four consecutive top-flight matches following his towering header in last weekend’s 1-1 draw at Brentford. So his personal confidence levels must be very high, and on Saturday he takes on a Palace defence trying to cope with European commitments – and missing a key player in Daniel Munoz. Leeds also scored three goals in each of their last two home matches vs Chelsea (3-1) and Liverpool (3-3), which makes this DCL-themed bet stand out even more!
Aston Villa to beat Manchester United @ 2.06
Like Everton, United’s squad is looking a bit bare ahead of a daunting trip to Villa. Bryan Mbeumo, Amad Diallo and Noussair Mazraoui are now on AFCON duty, while Casemiro is serving a one-match suspension after collecting his fifth yellow in the 4-4 draw with Bournemouth. Ruben Amorim is therefore without four guaranteed starters for one of the toughest away trips in the league, so we cannot work out why Villa are at such good odds to win. Unai Emery’s men have also won 10 of the last 11 in the top flight, a run which includes huge home triumphs over Manchester City and Arsenal. Backing them to make it 11 from 12 feels a wise move to make.
