Morocco vs Tanzania: Anytime goalscorer – Brahim Diaz @ 2.60
Real Madrid forward Diaz has been one of the stars of AFCON 2025 thus far. The silky playmaker is the tournament’s joint-top scorer with three goals in as many games, including the crucial 55th-minute opener against Comoros on Matchday 1. Like Diaz, Lookman has lit up AFCON 2025, helping the Super Eagles soar into the knockout rounds. The Atalanta forward has registered two goals and two assists from his pair of appearances at the tournament, so we expect him to play another major role for Nigeria against Mozambique. His goalscoring ability is well-documented, while the presence of other attacking stars such as Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze and Alex Iwobi only enhances his assist threat. Oh, and Mozambique are yet to keep a clean sheet at this tournament…
Egypt to beat Benin @ 1.45
Egypt are yet to really show the best version of themselves at AFCON 2025, with tense wins over Zimbabwe (2-1) and South Africa (1-0), as well as a 0-0 draw with Angola. But there can be no doubting the talent within their squad, which includes two of the Premier League’s finest attackers in Mohamed Salah and Omar Marmoush. So this should be a fairly routine victory over a Benin side still reeling from a 3-0 defeat to Senegal. Benin did beat Botswana 1-0 on Matchday 2, but also suffered a 1-0 loss to DR Congo. We really would be shocked if Benin managed to upset the odds here.
Algeria vs DR Congo: Anytime goalscorer – Riyad Mahrez @ 2.88
Ex-Manchester City and Leicester forward Mahrez is still pulling the strings in an Algeria jersey. The veteran has already tallied three goals at AFCON 2025, and Algeria need him at the peak of his powers again in order to overcome a robust DR Congo unit, which has conceded just once all tournament. The Algerians won all three of their group matches, with Mahrez scoring a brace in the 3-0 win over Sudan on Matchday 1. He also netted the goal to defeat Burkina Faso 1-0, and his role at the team’s penalty taker only makes the odds here stand out even more.
