Ladies and gentlemen, it is semi-final time at the iconic PDC World Championship.
Later this evening, four of the best darts players on the planet will compete for a spot in tomorrow’s final – and the chance to win an eye-watering £1 million.
Up first is defending champion and World No1 Luke Littler against an in-form Ryan Searle, before Gian van Veen and Gary Anderson meet in a potential Ally Pally classic.
Anderson is a two-time winner of this competition, while Van Veen and Searle are each looking to emerge victorious for the first time in their careers.
So, here are some picks for the two semi-finals based on the latest offering of darts odds on the NetBet website and app.

Luke Littler (1.10) vs Ryan Searle (7.10)
Total sets – Over 8.5 @ 2.34
These two players have dropped just two sets each en route to the semi-finals. Littler destroyed Krzysztof Ratajski 5-0 in the quarters, while Searle beat Jonny Clayton 5-2 with a fantastic display of finishing. So each dartsmith has form behind them, and while Littler is the huge favourite, we expect the defending champion to be tested in a race to six. Searle has the ability to match Littler’s power scoring, and if his doubling is around 45% or higher, Heavy Metal can take this game to at least the ninth set.
Luke Littler 3 Dart Match Average – 103.5 or more @ 2.00
Littler, who is looking to go back-to-back at the World Championship, barely got out of second gear in the quarters, but still averaged a cool 100.04 to seal the most comfortable of wins. There was a marvellous 170 finish, although The Nuke can perform far better – which is pretty ominous for the rest. And that was made clear by his averages against Mensur Suljovic (107.09 in a 4-0 win) and Rob Cross (106.58 in a 4-2 victory). With a great and consistent opponent in his way, expect Littler to surpass the 103.5 mark once again, as well as hit a plethora of 180s.
Gian van Veen (1.53) vs Gary Anderson (2.50)
180 in every set – Yes @ 1.48
Both Van Veen and Anderson can hit 180s for fun. Anderson is just two behind Littler in the race for the Ballon d’Art with 45 180s after wins over Michael van Gerwen and Justin Hood. Van Veen has also mustered 37 of his own, 11 of them coming in the shock 5-1 thrashing of 2024 champ Luke Humphries in the quarters. The Dutchman also averaged 105.41 in that contest. So we expect the T20 bed to be absolutely peppered in this match, and with every set likely to be a closely-fought mini contest of its own, the score announcer should be consistently screaming ‘180!’ throughout.
Total 180s – Over 28.5 @ 2.15
Another 180-themed bet here, although this one comes with slightly more risk, as it relies on the match going to at least nine or 10 sets. But with little to separate the pair in the stats columns heading to the Ally Pally tonight, this clash may very well be that epic semi-final encounter which finishes 6-5 to one or the other. Interestingly, the last time Anderson played in a World Championship semi-final in 2022, he and Peter Wright hit a record 39 180s between them!
