Mali vs Senegal: Player to score or assist – Sadio Mane @ 2.20
Arguably Senegal’s greatest ever player, Mane is enjoying another fine AFCON after inspiring his nation to glory in 2021. The Al-Nassr forward has registered three assists and a goal at the tournament, so his quality and nous will be key for the Lions of Teranga when they take on a stubborn Mali side. Les Aigles are yet to win a game in 90 minutes at AFCON 2025, reaching the quarter-finals by beating Tunisia on penalties in the last 16. Their durability is commendable, but Mane and Senegal should be too strong – especially with the confidence gained from their 3-1 win over Sudan last Saturday.
Cameroon vs Morocco: Total goals – Over 2.5 @ 2.36
This has all the makings of an AFCON classic. The host nation and tournament favourites Morocco take on the mighty Cameroon, who have won this competition five times. Of course, the Atlas Lions are the pre-match favourites, though the 1-0 win over Tanzania in the last 16 – sealed by another goal from Brahim Diaz – was far from convincing. Cameroon defeated a spirited South Africa side 2-1 to reach this stage, which followed another 2-1 win over Mozambique. So we fancy this to be the third consecutive Cameroon match where the Over 2.5 Goals selection lands, especially with Morocco boasting Diaz and Ayoub El Kaabi in the ranks – who have seven goals between them!
Nigeria to beat Algeria @ 2.32
Nigeria are looking good, really good. Despite a little on-field squabble between Ademola Lookman and Victor Osimhen, which has been dismissed as purely a heat of the moment issue, the Super Eagles flew into the quarter-finals with a 4-0 demolition job on Mozambique. Nigeria have won all four matches at AFCON 2025 thus far, scoring an impressive 12 goals. Lookman has three goals and four assists himself, and with Osimhen also finding form, the Nigerians should be too strong here. Algeria also won all three of their group games, but required a 119th-minute strike from Adil Boulbina to defeat DR Congo in the last 16. It has the makings of a great game, and backing Nigeria at such a great price looks equally good.
Egypt vs Ivory Coast: Both teams to score – Yes @ 1.93
It is not often you see the BTTS selection at such great odds when two high-quality sides come up against each other. This pick landed in two of Egypt’s four games – including the 3-1 win over Benin in the last 16 – and also in two of Ivory Coast’s, though not in the previous outing (a 3-0 win over Burkina Faso). Nevertheless, we still firmly believe that the BTTS market is the route to go down here, especially with so many attack-minded stars on show. Egypt boast Mohamed Salah and Omar Marmoush in their ranks, while Manchester United’s Amad Diallo has lit up the competition with three goals and an assist.
