Amad Diallo and Bryan Mbeumo should be available for United after returning from AFCON, though Noussair Mazraoui and Morocco have reached Sunday’s final, so the full-back is unavailable. Matthijs de Ligt is the only real fitness concern for Carrick.
City are without a host of key defenders due to injury in Josko Gvardiol, Ruben Dias and John Stones. Savinho and Oscar Bobb are also out, while it is probably too quick of a turnaround for Omar Marmoush following Egypt’s AFCON elimination on Wednesday evening.
