Sporting Lisbon vs Paris Saint-Germain: Player to score or assist – Ousmane Dembele @ 1.98
Dembele looks back to his best for PSG after an injury-interrupted start to the season. The Ballon d’Or winner has three goals in his previous two Ligue 1 appearances, including the marvellous brace against Lille on the weekend. Sporting have been strong at home in the Champions League, winning all three matches, but holders PSG are a different kettle of fish. We expect the French side to secure a vital victory, with Dembele at the forefront.
Inter Milan vs Arsenal: Both teams to score – Yes @ 1.73
While these two sides are often revered for their defensive work, we fancy goals in this one. Arsenal are averaging close to three per game in the Champions League, and with a spot in the Top 8 all but secured, Mikel Arteta may use this match as one to experiment with the handbrake off. The Gunners boss also has an embarrassment of riches in the attacking department, while Inter usually find a way to score at San Siro courtesy of players like Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram. So we are backing goals in Milan!
Real Madrid vs AS Monaco: First goalscorer – Kylian Mbappe @ 3.00
As is usually the case, finding value for an Mbappe-themed goal bet is very difficult. But the first scorer market is offering a fairly good price here, with the Frenchman back to full fitness after completing 90 minutes in last Saturday’s 2-0 win over Levante. Mbappe opened the scoring from the penalty spot in that game, and is the Champions League’s leading goal-getter with nine to his name. Oh and the Real Madrid star’s record against former club Monaco is pretty darn good, with 11 goals in 14 previous meetings. At 3.00, and with the supporting stats, this looks a great selection.
Chelsea to score over 2.5 goals vs Pafos @ 1.61
The Liam Rosenior era at Stamford Bridge is underway, marked by an important 2-0 win over Brentford on the weekend. Up next is Pafos, the Cypriot side who have certainly not looked out of place on this stage. A 1-0 win over Villarreal and a 2-2 draw with Monaco highlighted just that, but Chelsea away could be where we see a significant gulf in class. Cole Palmer and Joao Pedro shone vs Brentford, and if the duo click in West London on Wednesday, it could be a long, long night for the visitors. Chelsea have scored over 2.5 goals in two of their previous three home Champions League games, wins over Ajax (5-1) and Barcelona (3-0).
Newcastle to beat PSV Eindhoven and both teams to score @ 2.42
This has all the makings of a great match. Newcastle usually turn up at St James’ Park, while 2025-26 Champions League contests featuring PSV have been hugely entertaining. In fact, the BTTS selection has landed in every European clash featuring the Dutch side, with standout games such as the 4-1 win at Liverpool and 6-2 victory over Napoli. And the last three matches at St James’ across all competitions have seen Newcastle score seven goals, and concede eight. So expect an entertaining affair on Tyneside, with the hosts just edging it, having lost only three matches at home all season.
