West Ham to beat Sunderland @ 2.49

To the first game of the weekend then, and West Ham will be feeling great about themselves after a 2-1 win at rivals Tottenham last time out. It was the Hammers’ second consecutive victory following the 2-1 FA Cup success vs QPR, and for the first time this season, a cloud of confidence should be hanging over Nuno Espirito Santo’s camp. While Sunderland have been the division’s surprise package in 2025-26, much of that is down to their unbeaten home record. Away from the Stadium of Light, the Black Cats have claimed just two wins, losing five of 11 matches. So we are backing a win for West Ham in a must-win fixture.

Manchester City vs Wolves: Total goals – Under 2.5 @ 2.80

A few weeks back, we would not have dreamed of tipping this selection – but things have changed. Aside from the 10-1 win over Exeter – which was a bit of an outlier let’s be honest – City have lost the goal-scoring touch somewhat. Pep Guardiola’s side have scored just twice in the last three top-flight games following last week’s 2-0 loss at Manchester United. Erling Haaland is also yet to strike from open play this year, while Phil Foden’s last goal contribution came back in mid-December. Combine those points with the fact that Wolves have really tightened up at the back, conceding only twice in the last four league contests, and a low scorer looks on the cards at the Etihad.

Bournemouth vs Liverpool: Player to score or assist – Dominik Szoboszlai @ 2.65

While Szoboszlai has not contributed much in the Premier League of late, his hot streak in the Champions League continued on Wednesday with another strike in the 3-0 victory at Marseille. The Hungarian playmaker is up to four European goals for the campaign, and he also scored a screamer in the recent FA Cup Third Round win over Barnsley. And on Saturday, Szoboszlai and Liverpool take on one of the Premier League’s leakiest back-lines. Bournemouth have conceded 16 goals in the last six matches across all competitions, and have kept just one clean sheet in the previous six games at the Vitality. A Liverpool goal therefore feels inevitable, and with Szoboszlai adopting a more involved role under Arne Slot, he can be a major contributor once again.

Crystal Palace vs Chelsea: Player to score or assist – Cole Palmer @ 1.93

Palmer missed Chelsea’s 1-0 win over Pafos on Wednesday evening, but he is expected to return for the trip to Palace. It would be a big boost for Liam Rosenior, because Palmer has an excellent record against the Eagles. In his four Premier League appearances vs them while donning a Chelsea shirt, the Englishman tallied four goal contributions. Palmer recorded two assists at Selhurst Park in 2023-24, and also scored at the stadium last season in a 1-1 draw. After netting from the penalty spot in the 2-0 success over Brentford, Palmer can continue his resurgence this Sunday.
