Premier League Darts 2026 – Preview & Betting Tips

Premier League Darts 2026 Preview

After Luke Littler’s latest success at the World Masters, the focus of the darting world now switches to opening night of the Premier League.

World No2 Luke Humphries is the defending champion, pipping Littler to the crown in last year’s fabulous final.

But Humphries fell just short at the Masters on the weekend, losing 6-5 in sets to Littler after the teenager had just edged past a stubborn Gerwyn Price in the semi-finals.

So, can anyone stop two-time world champion Littler in this tournament, and attempt to halt his domination of the sport? Those questions will start being answered this Thursday!

And here is a full Premier League Darts 2026 preview, featuring the latest darts odds on NetBet and some outright betting picks.

Every single match and night will be covered in-depth on our online platform, with in-play betting options also readily available.

Let’s begin…

Who has been picked for Premier League Darts 2026?

Luke Littler, Luke Humphries, Gian van Veen, Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price, Jonny Clayton and Stephen Bunting are the eight dartsmiths selected by the PDC for this event.

Nathan Aspinall, Chris Dobey and Rob Cross are the three players from the 2025 edition of the tournament to drop out.

Danny Noppert, James Wade and Gary Anderson are perhaps most unlucky to not feature in 2026, with the trio all currently higher ranked than Price.

Anderson is actually the World No6 at the time of writing, ahead of Bunting and Rock!

Which locations will host 2026 Premier League Darts nights?

Newcastle, Antwerp, Glasgow, Belfast, Cardiff, Nottingham, Dublin, Berlin, Manchester, Brighton, Rotterdam, Liverpool, Aberdeen, Leeds, Birmingham and Sheffield (in that order) will host the 2026 league phase nights.

As per usual, Finals Night will be held at the O2 Arena in London, scheduled for May 28.

How does Premier League Darts work?

Each Premier League night features quarter-finals, semi-finals and a final to determine the points awarded.

Five points are handed to the night winner, three to the runner-up and two to each losing semi-finalist. The top four in the table come the end of Night 16 qualify for the play-offs.

Night 1 in Newcastle will see the following fixtures; Rock vs Clayton, Littler vs Van Veen, Humphries vs Price and Bunting vs Van Gerwen.

Premier League Darts 2026 Betting Tips

To reach the semi-finals – Josh Rock @ 1.91

Littler, Humphries and Van Veen – the top three in the world – are expected to reach Finals Night, but the fourth spot is certainly up for grabs. And we think Rock will make up the play-off quartet. The Northern Irishman has been in good form for some time now, partly thanks to his World Cup win alongside Daryl Gurney last summer. Even though debutants can sometimes struggle with the added demands and travel of the Premier League, Rock has the temperament and quality – particularly his high scoring – to excel at this level.

To finish bottom – Stephen Bunting @ 2.30

Bunting’s inclusion caused a bit of a stir, as the Liverpudlian failed to really stamp his authority on any of the 2025 majors. He also finished bottom of the Premier League table in 2025, winning only seven of 22 matches and accumulating just 12 points. It could be another long campaign for The Bullet, especially if he gets off to a bad start.
