Leeds to score over 1.5 goals vs Burnley @ 1.47

Leeds may still be reeling from their 1-0 FA Cup semi-final loss to Chelsea. But in already-relegated Burnley, Daniel Farke’s men have the ideal opponent to rebuild confidence and pick up three more crucial points. The Clarets are heading back to the Championship, with 22 defeats already suffered and a division-high 68 goals conceded. Leeds’ previous home game saw them thrash Wolves 3-0, and with Burnley now having little to play for, a similar outcome looks firmly on the cards here. Leeds have scored two or more goals in each of the last three Premier League outings, also netting three times in two of the previous three games at Elland Road.

Brighton to beat Newcastle @ 2.58

Brighton will be full of confidence ahead of their latest trip to St James’ Park after thrashing Chelsea 3-0. And that midweek result meant the Seagulls were afforded a welcome weekend off, while Newcastle were losing 1-0 at Arsenal last Saturday evening. So this represents a huge opportunity for Fabian Hurzeler’s men to continue their bid for European qualification. Brighton are unbeaten in five Premier League games, winning four of them, while Newcastle are on a four-match losing streak in the top flight – with pressure mounting on Eddie Howe. Backing Brighton to capitalise on the uncertainty at Newcastle could be a very profitable move.

Brentford vs West Ham: Player to score or assist – Jarrod Bowen @ 2.10

West Ham are in decent form as they bid to avoid relegation, claiming a vital 2-1 win over Everton last time out. And skipper Bowen is at the peak of his powers right now, the England international assisting both goals in the key victory at the London Stadium. The forward has recorded eight assists in his last nine top-flight appearances, and with Brentford winless in the previous six Premier League games, selecting him to land another decisive blow at better than evens feels like a no-brainer. Bowen also has nine goals in his 15 matches vs the Bees to date, and netted a brace in the recent FA Cup fifth-round tie – which West Ham won on penalties.

Wolves vs Sunderland: Joao Gomes to commit over 2.5 fouls @ 2.63

It is well-known that Gomes is prone to committing a foul. In fact, only Brentford’s Igor Thiago (64) has tallied more than the Brazilian midfielder’s total of 63, though the Wolves man is averaging more per 90 minutes (2.2). Gomes committed three fouls in the Wanderers’ last two games vs Leeds and Tottenham, and we like the look of the odds on lightning to strike for the third consecutive match. Up against the likes of Granit Xhaka and Noah Sadiki in the middle of the park, the tenacious Gomes should catch the referee’s attention on multiple occasions. He committed two fouls at the Stadium of Light earlier in the campaign, but we are tipping him to go one further in the rematch.
