Brighton vs Wolves: Total goals – Over 2.5 @ 1.47
With Wolves already relegated to the Championship, this game has a comfortable Brighton win written all over it. Fabian Hurzeler’s side did lose 3-1 at Newcastle last weekend, but prior to that the Seagulls were on a stellar run of form. The previous home game saw Brighton thrash Chelsea 3-0, with this over 2.5 selection landing in three of the last four at the Amex. And Wolves conceded seven goals in their last two away contests, a 4-0 loss at West Ham followed by a 3-0 defeat to Leeds. We fancy goals on the South Coast.
Sunderland vs Manchester United: Player to score or assist – Matheus Cunha @ 1.80
Benjamin Sesko is a fitness doubt for United’s trip to Sunderland, so Cunha could be deployed as a centre forward. But even if the Brazilian operates from the left wing, his goal threat is still evident for all to see – as he proved by scoring against Liverpool last Sunday. Cunha has four goal contributions in his previous five Premier League appearances, so though Bruno Fernandes is often the standout Red Devils pick in this market, backing the Brazilian is a potential gateway to slightly more profit.
Fulham vs Bournemouth: Double chance – Draw or Bournemouth win @ 1.44
Bournemouth are flying in the Premier League right now, with three wins recorded in the last four following the convincing 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace. And the other two successes in that run were recorded on the road, 2-1 triumphs at both Arsenal and Newcastle. So backing Andoni Iraola’s side to at least draw at Craven Cottage looks a pretty sure-fire bet. Fulham won each of the last two on home soil vs Aston Villa and Burnley, but the in-form Cherries should offer a sterner examination of Marco Silva’s side – who may still be feeling the impact of the illness bug which hampered them in the 3-0 loss at Arsenal.
Manchester City vs Brentford: Both teams to score – Yes @ 1.60
Saturday night’s match could not be bigger in terms of the title race. After the 3-3 draw at Everton on Monday, City simply have to win. Lose or draw, and the trophy is effectively heading to the Emirates. So the pressure is on Pep Guardiola’s men, who displayed some defensive nervousness vs the Toffees. And the Citizens – though free-scoring themselves – were constantly caught in transition, something Brentford can exploit at the Etihad through the likes of Igor Thiago, Kevin Schade and Dango Ouattara. As such, the BTTS market looks like an attractive pick here, especially as it has landed in each of City’s last three top-flight home games.
