The best golfers in the world are preparing for the second major of 2026.
Thursday, May 14 marks the start of the prestigious PGA Championship, which this year is being held at the Aronimink Golf Club in Newton Square, Pennsylvania.
The four-day golfing bonanza concludes on Sunday, May 17 and unsurprisingly, it is defending champion and World No1 Scottie Scheffler who is the favourite for glory here.
But the American was also the frontrunner for the Masters last month, which Rory McIlroy ended up winning for the second consecutive year.
Will we see a shootout between Scheffler and McIlroy in Pennsylvania? All questions will soon be answered, but first here is our quick preview for the PGA Championship 2026.
You will also find the latest outright golf odds available on NetBet Sport, and if your bet on the tournament is looking good as the days come and go, remember that our Cash Out feature allows you to collect potential winnings before the results are officially confirmed!
Where can I watch the PGA Championship in the UK?

PGA Championship 2026 Preview
Last year’s tournament was dominated by the Americans, with players from the nation making up the entirety of the Top 5.
Scheffler finished as the pack leader on -11, ahead of Harris English and Bryson Dechambeau (both -6).
And this year could see the continued rise of another American star in Cameron Young, whose impressive performances on the circuit have seen him emerge as the third favourite for PGA Championship glory.
He won the prestigious Players Championship at Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida back in March, and looks ready to cement his status as one of the best golfers in the world.
In terms of NetBet’s outright odds, Young is just behind McIlroy, who has won this tournament twice in 2012 and 2014.
But the event has not been overly kind to the Northern Irishman since the latter victory, with only four Top 10 finishes recorded in the 11 years since – a poor return by his lofty standards.
Can McIlroy rediscover the PGA Championship mojo from his younger days? After his performance at Augusta last month, you really do feel anything is possible.
Another player to keep a keen eye on is Englishman Matt Fitzpatrick, who is already a major champion thanks to his 2022 US Open triumph.
Fitzpatrick’s impressive performance at the last PGA Championship helped kickstart a prolonged run of good form, which could see him challenge the big hitters here.
We cannot wait for the action to get underway!
