We may have reached the knockout stage but it doesn’t mean an end to the early starts.
Tuesday’s Round of 32 action begins with a 2am kick-off UK time between Netherlands and Morocco at Estadio Monterrey. Netherlands have grown into the tournament, winning Group F with two wins and a draw and scoring 10 goals along the way. Morocco just missed out on top spot in Group C to Brazil on goal difference.
There are two evening kick-offs, starting at 6pm with Ivory Coast against Norway at Dallas Stadium. This is the first R32 tie not to feature a group winner as both nations progressed to the knockout stage as runners-up.
The action then moves to New York New Jersey Stadium for the 10pm kick-off between France and Sweden. France are one of only two group winners to have a 100% record so far at the 2026 World Cup. Sweden have the odd distinction of having won and lost games here by the same hefty 5-1 scoreline.
To help you through a long day of top football action with NetBet Sport, we’ve selected some best picks below for each of the three games based on our latest World Cup betting odds.

Netherlands vs Morocco: Anytime Goalscorer Double Chance – Brian Brobbey Or Ismael Saibari @ 2.04
These two teams met way back in the 1994 World Cup, Netherlands winning their group clash 2-1. But many of today’s players won’t have been born then so let’s bring this up to date. There were a few question marks around Netherlands’ World Cup ambitions after the disappointing draw with Japan, but they were purring again in big wins over Sweden (5-1) and Tunisia (3-1). Sunderland’s Brian Brobbey has discovered his international scoring boots with three goals in the last two games, making him the subject of some hot transfer gossip. Morocco became the first African country to reach the World Cup semi-finals in 2022 and are sat on a world record 40-game unbeaten run in international matches. That’s assuming that the ‘award’ of a 3-0 winning scoreline against Senegal in January’s Africa Cup of Nations final isn’t overturned. PSV forward Ismael Saibari scored in all three group games for the Atlas Lions and against Haiti recorded the joint-most shots with five. Saibari and Brobbey are the goal poachers in form coming into this match.
Ivory Coast vs Norway: Anytime Goalscorer – Erling Haaland @1.73
Two group runners-up go head-to-head with both looking to win a World Cup knockout game for the first time. Four-goal Erling Haaland was rested as Norway lost their final group game 4-1 to France. Two of his goals came in a 3-2 win against another African nation, Senegal. Ivory Coast showed they can handle European opposition with victories over France and Scotland in the build-up to this tournament. Norway coach Stale Solbakken has praised the physical ability and balance of the Ivory Coast team but also reminded everybody that he rested most of his players for that France game. Haaland was one of those allowed to put his feet up. Fully fit and raring to go with 59 goals in 52 international appearances, Haaland has to be a serious choice for goalscorer here.
France vs Sweden: Bet Builder – France to win, Over 2.5 goals and Kylian Mbappe to score anytime @ 2.30
France breezed through the group stage as if it was a series of practice sessions. Three wins from three games saw Kylian Mbappe the chief torturer of opposition defences, as he plundered four goals and provided two assists. But France are far from being a one-man team. PSG’s Ousmane Dembele also has four goals for the tournament as well as an assist, while the creative talent known as Michael Olise is joint-top of the assists chart with three. It is hugely difficult to make a case for Sweden here. The joy of an opening 5-1 win over Tunisia was quickly extinguished by a 5-1 thrashing by Netherlands. Graham Potter’s team scraped through to this stage as a third-place qualifier but with just one win in their last five games it would be a seismic shock if they upset one of the big favourites for the World Cup. We expect goals, especially as France have scored at least three in each of their last four matches.
