Scotland’s adventure in League B of the 2026-27 Nations League begins with a tricky trip to Slovenia on Friday evening.
The Tartan Army are now under the management of former Union Saint-Gilloise boss Sebastien Pocognoli following Steve Clarke’s resignation.
Clarke opted to vacate his position following the team’s poor showing at World Cup 2026, in which they failed to progress from the group stage.
Slovenia did not reach the World Cup stage, and are missing their best attacker in Manchester United’s Benjamin Sesko for this prolonged international break due to a shin injury.
But the visitors are also without the talismanic figure of Scott McTominay, who is recovering from minor heart surgery.
