So Littler’s motivation levels will be through the roof ahead of the Grand Prix, an ominous thought for the rest of the pack. The action gets underway on Monday, September 28 and concludes on Sunday, October 4.

Last year, Littler somehow beat Gerwyn Price 3-2 in the quarter-finals, a match which featured some truly bizarre – but still thoroughly enjoyable – darts.
The Nuke then rose to the fore in the semis by thrashing Clayton 5-1, while Humphries reached the final with a 5-3 victory over Danny Noppert.
And it was another Littler masterclass in the final itself, with crucial doubles at crucial times seeing him claim a 6-1 triumph over his English rival.
