Chelsea vs Bournemouth: Draw no bet – Chelsea @ 1.29
Okay, we start with a low-priced pick, though the stats suggest it is well worth adding to an acca. Bournemouth have played some good football under Marco Rose but are yet to pick up a Premier League win this season, while Chelsea are unbeaten at home across all competitions. Furthermore, Bournemouth are winless in their previous nine games against the Blues, and with key midfielder Alex Scott set to be ruled out with an injury picked up on England duty, you really have to fancy Xabi Alonso’s men at Stamford Bridge.
Aston Villa vs Brentford: Player to score or assist – Nicolas Jackson @ 1.96
Jackson opened his Premier League account for Aston Villa in the 3-2 victory at Tottenham just before the international break. The striker then enjoyed a decent time with Senegal, scoring against Mozambique before contributing a crucial assist to help beat Ethiopia. So Jackson’s confidence levels will be high ahead of Brentford’s visit to Villa Park, and he has a good record against the Bees. The ex-Chelsea forward scored twice in his previous three games against Brentford, making this another solid selection at a decent price.
Ipswich vs Fulham: Draw no bet – Ipswich @ 1.87
This is one of the hardest games of the weekend to call, and it is also a big one, with many football fans tipping Ipswich and Fulham to be part of the relegation battle. But we are tilting slightly toward Ipswich, as you have to go back to February for the last time the Cottagers tasted victory on the road. Ipswich beat Sunderland at Portman Road on the opening weekend of the campaign and this represents the chance to make a big statement at a crucial point of the season. Siding with the Tractor Boys could be a small risk worth taking, and this pick at least covers your stake in the event of a draw.
Sunderland vs Brighton: Player to score or assist – Pascal Gross @ 2.90
Gross has been the standout performer in the 2026-27 Premier League season thus far. The German midfielder boasts three goals and four assists from five top-flight appearances, with five of those contributions collected on the road. Gross also scored and assisted in the 3-0 demolition of title favourites Arsenal before the international break, and will now be targeting a Sunderland defence which conceded five at Manchester City in their last outing. The Black Cats are also set to be without Daniel Ballard after the centre-back picked up a hamstring injury on Northern Ireland duty, a far from ideal defensive scenario ahead of facing a team with 19 goals in its last six matches. And if free-scoring Brighton live up to their reputation, Gross will surely play another pivotal role in proceedings.
Hull vs Everton: Total goals – Under 2.5 @ 1.68
Hull’s back-line was breached in recent matches, the Tigers drawing 2-2 at Stamford Bridge and losing 2-1 at Newcastle. But a return to home soil should lend itself to a more determined and composed defensive performance, akin to that of the season’s first two matches vs Manchester United (2-0) and Aston Villa (0-0). And Everton’s games in 2026-27 have not been goal-filled for the most part, only one in the Premier League seeing over 2.5 scored – with under 2.5 landing in both away from the Hill Dickinson Stadium. Backing a low-scoring thriller at Hull therefore feels a pretty sensible course of action.
