Real Betis vs Barcelona: Total goals – Over 3.5 @ 1.55

Barcelona are averaging over four goals per game across all competitions this season, which is quite frankly absurd. Hansi Flick’s free-scoring machine recorded a 4-1 victory at Galatasaray in the Champions League on Tuesday evening, while Betis played in their own European thriller the following night, claiming a 3-2 home success over FC Porto. And the Seville-based side’s previous La Liga game saw them win 5-2 vs Osasuna, so you have to fancy goals in this one. If you are feeling brave with your pick, over 4.5 goals – which landed in three of Betis’ previous six and four of Barcelona’s last six – is priced at 2.24.

AC Milan to beat Atalanta @ 1.75

Atalanta recorded a 3-1 win over Pafos in the Europa Conference League on Thursday, which followed a 3-1 home victory over Venezia in Serie A. But prior to that, Atalanta lost three in a row vs Roma (2-1), Cagliari (1-2) and Juventus (2-0), highlighting their clear struggles on the road. Milan collected a 4-0 triumph at RB Salzburg in the Europa League on Thursday, and won their previous two Serie A matches at San Siro vs Venezia (2-0) and Lecce (3-0). So while Atalanta certainly represent a step up in class on paper, you have to fancy the Rossoneri here. Ruben Amorim is yet to taste defeat in Serie A as Milan manager, so you could even play it safer with Draw No Bet at 1.30.

Bayer Leverkusen vs Freiburg: Anytime goalscorer – Patrik Schick @ 1.76

What a start to the season it has been from Schick. Leverkusen’s main man is the Bundesliga’s top marksman with five goals, the Czech ace scoring in all five games thus far. Schick also netted a brace in the 4-0 win over Lech Poznan in the Europa League on Thursday evening, so to say he is a man in form would be something of an understatement. This weekend he takes on a Freiburg defence which conceded five goals in the three previous matches, and one the striker has fond memories of playing against. On his last home start for Leverkusen vs Freiburg in late 2024, Schick scored four goals in a 5-1 victory. All the signs point towards a shot of Schick wheeling away in celebration on Saturday afternoon.

Strasbourg vs Paris Saint-Germain: Player to score or assist – Ferran Torres @ 1.54

With a huge Champions League game against Barcelona coming up next Tuesday, expect Luis Enrique to heavily rotate his PSG XI. Torres did not start in the 4-2 win at Manchester City on Wednesday, which means he is almost certain to be reinstated here, in order to afford Ousmane Dembele some rest. And Torres’ career in Ligue 1 has got off to a very good start with four goals scored in his first six appearances. Marry that to the fact that Strasbourg are yet to keep a clean sheet in the French top-flight this season and lost each of the last two, and the Spaniard to deliver again in the final third looks a standout pre-match selection.
