Premier League 2025/26: Who Will Get the Most Assists?

Premier League Most Assists

With the new Premier League season now tantalisingly close, it is time to look at some of the outright markets available on NetBet.

One of the most popular is ‘Most Assists’, where you can bet on which player will tally the highest number of assists in the season.

So, ahead of the Premier League’s opening night on Friday – when Liverpool host Bournemouth – we take a look at the favourites.

As well as a plethora of football betting options, we also have a variety of promotions for your bet, including Bet Builder. This customisation tool is available to use on every single Premier League game.

Now, let’s take a look at the odds for Most Assists in 2025-26…

*All odds are subject to change

Mohamed Salah (Liverpool) – 4.00

Salah led the way for assists in the Premier League last season with 18 in 38 appearances. The Egyptian is often lauded as a goalscorer, but his creative numbers are among the best in the world. In 2024-25, it seemed every Liverpool attack went through Salah, but things might be different this season following the addition of Florian Wirtz. As such, we recommend treading carefully when looking at Salah’s odds here.

Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) – 4.00

Arsenal talisman Saka is priced the same as Salah, which might seem a tad surprising at first. However, when you look at the numbers and the Gunners’ summer business, it makes a lot of sense. Last season, Saka recorded 10 assists in 25 appearances, with injury derailing a potential run at the record tally. Furthermore, the addition of prolific striker Viktor Gyokeres should only enhance Saka’s status as Arsenal’s designated creator-in-chief. If he can stay fit, the England international looks a great selection here.

Florian Wirtz (Liverpool) – 4.50

As mentioned above, Wirtz’s signing is huge for Liverpool, as he is a chance creating machine who racks up assists for fun. In the previous four Bundesliga campaigns, the silky playmaker notched 39 assists in 104 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen, which is a superb return. Wirtz also assisted Hugo Ekitike’s goal in the Community Shield defeat to Crystal Palace and with the free-scoring Salah in support, the German starlet should be fighting at the top of the charts for much of the season.

Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United) – 8.00

Fernandes somehow managed to tally 10 assists for United last season, despite playing behind a misfiring attack and for a team which ultimately finished 15th in the table. In 2025-26, things may be different, as the Portugal international could have one of the best front threes in the division ahead of him in Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko. And as United have no European fixtures, Fernandes’ sole focus will be on wreaking havoc in the Premier League, which makes his 8.00 odds very tempting indeed.

Cole Palmer (Chelsea) – 8.00

His goals may grab more of the headlines, but lest we forget that Palmer has delivered 19 assists for Chelsea over the last two seasons. And you could argue that was without any real quality up top, something which looks set to change for the Blues in 2025-26 following the addition of Joao Pedro, who has scored in every appearance he has made thus far. A Palmer/Pedro partnership may help turn the Englishman into the league’s leading assist maker, so this is definitely a selection to consider.
