Winner

Liverpool – 2.75

Arsenal – 3.25

Manchester City – 4.50

Chelsea – 9.00

Manchester United – 26.00

Newcastle – 51.00

Tottenham – 51.00

Aston Villa – 81.00

Analysis: Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City are the big favourites to win the title, and it is hard to look past them. The trio have finished inside the top three in the last two seasons, and each of them has spent big money in the transfer window. City’s odds are, of course, the most tempting, given the fact serial winner Pep Guardiola is still manager, although Arsenal with a world-class striker in Viktor Gyokeres can certainly match favourites Liverpool.

To Finish in Top 4

Liverpool – 1.11

Arsenal – 1.18

Manchester City – 1.25

Chelsea – 1.57

Manchester United – 3.75

Newcastle – 3.75

Aston Villa – 5.00

Tottenham – 6.00

Analysis: It is hard to find value in this market with the predicted strength of the top four. Although, Man Utd could be a shrewd bet after their summer additions. Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko represent one of the best front threes in the division. If Ruben Amorin can add another midfielder to compliment Bruno Fernandes, the Red Devils can make a push for the Top 4 – especially with no European distractions! Of course, Newcastle finished in the Top 4 last season, although the Alexander Isak saga could derail the start of their campaign, so approach with caution.

To Be Relegated

Burnley – 1.33

Sunderland – 1.40

Leeds – 2.10

Wolves – 4.00

Brentford – 4.00

West Ham – 6.00

Crystal Palace – 8.00

Everton – 8.00

Nottingham Forest – 9.00

Bournemouth – 9.00

Analysis: The promoted three are understandably top of the pile in this market, but it is interesting to see the short odds for Brentford, Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth – who all finished in the top half last season. However, Brentford in particular have been forced to sell a number of key players this summer and also lost manager Thomas Frank to Tottenham, so their price is perhaps fair – and a potential source of value. West Ham, Crystal Palace and Everton look far too strong on paper to succumb to the drop, although stranger things have happened. Wolves ended 2024-25 with three consecutive defeats and lost Cunha, but Vitor Pereira’s side should still have more than enough to remain in the division, especially after the signing of Jhon Arias, so their price of 4.00 seems a bit short. Brentford look the best shout here, if you are looking away from Burnley, Sunderland and Leeds.

Golden Glove

David Raya (Arsenal) – 2.20

Alisson Becker (Liverpool) – 3.50

Ederson (Manchester City) – 3.75

James Trafford (Manchester City) – 7.00

Robert Sanchez (Chelsea) – 15.00

Analysis: Arsenal star Raya has kept 29 clean sheets in the last two seasons and currently shares the Golden Glove award with Nottingham Forest’s Matz Sels. The Gunners’ defence is the best in the division, so it is hard to look past the Spaniard really. It is perhaps best to avoid Ederson and Trafford for now, as it is not yet clear who will be City’s designated No1 for the season.
