This weekend, the world’s favourite golf tournament makes a triumphant return to provide us with three days of unmatched sporting drama.
Team USA and Team Europe are preparing for battle in the 2025 edition of the Ryder Cup, which is being held at the Black Course of Bethpage State Park in Farmingdale, New York.
Europe are the defending champions following an epic victory in Rome, Italy, two years ago, and this year’s visiting side have won eight of the last 11 Ryder Cup tournaments.
Furthermore, two of those triumphs came on American soil (2004 and 2012), though Team USA were dominant on their own patch in both 2016 and 2021, winning by eight (17-11) and 10 points (19-9) respectively.
But it would be a surprise to see such disparity in the scoreline this time around, with many golfing experts tipping this to be the closest Ryder Cup event in a generation.
Throughout the tournament, you can find the best golf betting odds right here at NetBet, and make sure to check out our exclusive Ryder Cup Free Bet Offer.

What are the Ryder Cup 2025 teams?
Team USA
Players: Sam Burns, Patrick Cantlay, Bryson DeChambeau, Harris English, Ben Griffin, Russell Henley, Colin Morikawa, Xander Schauffele, JJ Spaun, Scottie Scheffeler, Justin Thomas, Cameron Young
Captain: Keegan Bradley
Vice-Captains: Jim Furyk, Kevin Kisner, Webb Simpson, Brandt Snedeker, Gary Woodland
Team Europe

Captain: Luke Donald
Vice-Captains: Edoardo Molinari, Thomas Bjorn, Jose Maria Olazabal, Francesco Molinari, Alex Noren
Of course, much of the focus before and during the Ryder Cup will be on the two highest-ranked players – World No1 Scheffeler and World No2 McIlroy.
Scheffeler has enjoyed another sensational year, winning both the PGA Championship and The Open, while McIlroy famously completed his career Grand Slam by winning the 2025 Masters.
The other major winner this year was Spaun, who claimed victory at the US Open back in June.
Straka, English, Aberg, Henley, Hovland, Thomas, Griffin, Young, Rose and Fleetwood have also secured wins on the PGA Tour in 2025.
Based on official world rankings, the US have the stronger collection of players, but there is still quiet confidence in the European camp.
Team captain Donald has plenty of experience winning Ryder Cups, while McIlroy’s presence is always a massive bonus, especially as he was part of the side which won away from home in 2012.
Furthermore, the European contingent have played plenty of rounds on US courses this year, which should prove very beneficial for when they all step out in front of a hostile New York crowd.
Ryder Cup 2025 Outright Odds
*All odds are subject to change
Ryder Cup Winner:
USA – 1.66
Europe – 2.55
Tie – 12.00
To Lift the Trophy:
USA – 1.67
Europe – 2.17
USA Top Point Scorer:
Scottie Scheffeler – 3.85
Bryson DeChambeau – 7.40
Russell Henley – 7.80
Xander Schauffele – 8.00
Patrick Cantlay – 8.00
Europe Top Point Scorer:
Rory McIlroy – 4.80
Jon Rahm – 5.30
Tommy Fleetwood – 6.60
Tyrrell Hatton – 9.10
Ludvig Aberg – 9.30
It is no surprise to see the US leading the way in the result markets, given they have only lost four Ryder Cups on home soil in the biennial tournament’s 98-year history.
But rule Europe out at your own peril, especially if World No1 Scheffeler is unable to deliver his usual level of consistency.
Donald’s team have prepared well and in McIlroy, Fleetwood and Rahm, they have experienced leaders who know how to get the job done in this tournament, while in Aberg and Hatton, Europe possess two younger stars who each shone in Rome two years ago.
We cannot wait for the action to get underway on Friday!
